Appearance
Main World & Conquest Arc
Setup
You discover the Prison of Souls in the snowy mountains of Len, through your innovative magic. It allows you to see through the illusion magic protecting the ancient fortress and uncover the secrets of necromancy.
Necromancy allows you to control demon souls (though this is a nuance that you didn't understand). Initially you thought this meant you were capable of mind controlling people, though you quickly realize this only worked on commoners and not Solfrey. Your mind control allows you to "lightly control" about 10 at start, and then growing to 15ish commoners. This light control is fairly hands off and works perfectly. While it takes effort to maintain, you don't need to strain yourself so long as you stay within the limit. This light control makes the target trust and obey you, with a great sense of loyalty. They are basically regular humans with their regular capabilities.
You can also raise an unlimited number of battle thralls. This is a more intense mind control that wipes their reason and turns them into nothing but mindless killing machines. You must personally direct them in battle. Otherwise, they're hard to control and go on rampages without any understanding of friend or foe.
While the number of thralls under your ownership are unlimited, you're not capable of directing them all at once. You can direct a vast army though, about 10k men. However, it's not quite enough to take over the world. Generally what you need is a ton of reserves to be able to send them out in waves to fight.
When you're sleeping or not in battle, you tend to turn them off, where they fall on the ground, deactivated. Some battle thralls retain some of their former skills, but most do not.
Regardless you set out to conquer the world with this power and avenge the injustices that you felt had been done onto your family.
You start by raising an undead army, harvesting souls from the world and raising skeletons etc from graves. You concentrate on Fabuwie, which is a far away continent, not the main continent where the main Washan and Orian cultures are (all the named countries like Ban, Mireota, etc are on the main continent except for Qiangdi, which is a destroyed Fabuwie kingdom).
You do this out of caution to not connect your secret necromancer activities to Len. You try to maintain your regular human life while building your necromancer army. The purpose is to build as much as possible before the war against the world. Absolutely nobody knows your secret of being the necromancer other than Sunwei (under your mind control) and your mind-controlled heroes.
You don't personally have to be present in Fabuwie to raise undead there, you have avatars and minions who you can remotely control and do it for you. You generally hang out in the Prison of Souls to direct operations.
In fabuwie you've built a series of hidden bases (dungeons) to store your inactive army. Using advanced illusion magic, you disguise those bases and post "lightly controlled" warriors to watch them, so if anything happens when you're sleeping they can notify you.
While it's very difficult for a large army to attack and find their way through the traps and illusion magic, specialized elite heroes are often able to track the bases and find their way through, leading to the occasional emergency in the middle of the night and sometimes during sex or meetings. Losing a couple of bases isn't a huuuge deal though, so long as your main base isn't found.
At the same time you're also building a regular human army in Len, populated by mercenaries, regular soldiers, and elite mind controlled heroes (you have 15 slots, but 3 slots are taken by your 2 secretaries and bodyguard), leaving 8 for hero-mages.
Since these heroes are all kidnapped during the fight against the necromancer, they wear distinctive face coverings to obscure their identities. Nobody knows who they are.
They can operate in the human world and go on missions as well as reinforce your necromancer army's raids and defenses against counter attacks.
You can operate just politically as a normal human, taking advantage of the chaos caused by the necromancer, or creating plenty of your own chaos yourself.
The Cult of Yan is of course on high alert and is going around trying to rally the secular forces against the necromancer army. Since the necromancer army starts small and isn't super aggressive in Act 1, most foreign kings don't see the huge danger. Fabuwie lords and also loathed to ask for help.
But the Cult of Yan are constantly trying to rally the world as well as investigate the source of the Necromancy and is your main opposition.
Act 1
Act 1 boss is Moglukai.
You're in a area of limited vision, not sure what's going on in the outside world. You can only talk to the other nobles of your Kingdom and your immediate neighbors.
The goal is to become a King in Act 1.
There are 3 paths to becoming a King.
- Coup, overthrow the King and become a King. This happens naturally during the Winny Lo arc or you can do it yourself, by passing the Winny Lo situation.
- Declare independence from the Kingdom and become a King.
- Take over a neighbor and become the King of that Kingdom.
Only path 1 requires custom events, 2 and 3 should be handled by the game systems with minimal required custom writing. However, custom writing should still be done since it's the first kingdom man, it's quite important.
Coup de etat
Act 2
The Cult of Yan proceeds to destroy graves all over the world to prevent them from being used for the Necromancer.
Deprived of graves, you turn to mass slaughter to feed your army.
Full fledged gameplay, with the player being a King.
Introduce the strong enemy nations that are in your way, that you have to take down in order to conquer the world.
Act 2 boss is Deng Yu.
Act 3
Meet final Boss - The leader of the anti-necromancer coalition. Jui Su or Chimao Se - Yan Miralei School Mother Conveyer or the 3 Kings.
Beating any of them cracks open the CoD allowing you to access its secrets and the Division. The countries surrender afterwards allowing you to proclaim yourself emperor of the world.
This is the VICTORY CONDITION. Completing this will allow you to rank up in the meta system and gain access to the next difficulty level.
Act 4
World Conquest Aftermath.
Optional Superboss - The Immortal Empress C2, and the Demon Queen.
