Overview

This is my mentally ill character. Having a character that's overly emotional / irrational is a great and easy way to create some unexpected drama, but it's not a trope you want to overuse... This character fulfills the quota.

Character Background

Commoner who trained and works as a live in Networker in your household.

There are 2 other male networkers (very minor characters) who she has a rivalry with, not wanting to lose her job to them. That we have 3 is largely for redundancy and to connect multiple people to the SCN.

Networker

Networkers are able to magically access the SCN. The Solfrey Correspondence Network. It is a metaverse of magecraft, with different addresses that expert networkers are able to access. While most Solfrey mages are able to access the SCN by themselves, networkers provide magical support so that the access is consistent and effortless. Networkers are generally capable of using the SCN while their user is active, but not without permission.

There are a few networking corporations which train networkers. It's a good and desirable job for commoners.

The SCN networkers all used to be Solfrey, but eventually it was decided that the job is doable by commoners for a cheaper price.

Networking takes significant vulnerability, to allow the user's magecraft to pass through their brain. They spend significant time "zoned out",
