Aoxue Yoi H4 Get Back Lover

This medium sized side-quest has the dual purpose of hinting at the nature of demons and serving a dose of netori.

The hero of the story is Aoxue, who is a commoner, captured by you to be part of your necromantic army. This side quest involves an older couple in their 30s, the man is 39 and the woman is 32.

A 3 years back, she was in love with a boyfriend named Guangrui. Guangrui was stolen away from her by the Baroness of Wenjing, named Quiniang.

Guangrui and Aoxue are of course, a demon pairing, unbeknownst to anyone. You have a chance to return them to each other. Doing so, will revive a demon that you will have to defeat.

When Aoxue first tells you about her story, of course you don't care enough about her boyfriend to do anything. But she expresses a desire to fix her situation with her bf. She says, "Things are different for me now. I'm yours, your tool of conquest. I... the sense of right and wrong that I had before, it's not there anymore. Anything you want, to conquer for you, that seems right. Whatever it was that used to hold me back, it's gone."

Your options are to

Tell Aoxue to completely forget her ex.

This ends the storyline.

Tell her to do what she thinks is best.

She assassinates Quiniang and kidnaps Guangrui. In 5 turns they disappear and you have a demon problem on your hands.

Tell her to not do anything crazy.

But after sending out a recon mission, you'll realize that her boyfriend is the "Master at Arms" of a city, Wenjing. This is a rank that's below that of the Captain of the Guards of the city but recognizes his importance and the respect he has from the men. He works closely with the Captain of the Guards.
