Core Character Purpose

• The world doesn't make sense if there isn't enough male characters.
• But he shouldn't have a lot of screentime pre-transition.
• Important to not make him into some kind of stupid movie quip machine, it's a book not a movie, we have narration to give explanations and even humor, don't need an annoying character.
