QiangDi's Mountain Gods
QiangDi worshipped a sky god pre-kpor in a ritual that involved hiking up a long mountain and having sex there with the High Priestess. Post kpor and the demon wars this practice was banned as it's seen as a demonic summoning ritual. Though the pre-demon wars gods had nothing to do with demons, modern people understand ancient gods to be "demons".
This ritual has symbolic meaning to the Garset and various off-shoots of that group. It represents what was taken away from them, and people who are dissatisfied with the official Yan religion often cling to rituals like this as a way to revive pre-Yan religions. Scorean
A social ceremony where the Queen Consort is presented to the people.
Mireota is ruled by Peizhi, the last Necromancer. The Scorean is part of a ritual where the previous queen is disposed of when they reach 45 years of age, and a new 20 year old becomes the new queen. It is tradition for Mireota kings to have this practice on the dot every 25 years. This practice is said to be highly misogynistic, as the old queen is said to be killed, her people completely removed from the palace and the hot young new queen to take her place. It's a tradition that pits women against women, and every woman who's ever taken the place of queen has her karma served against her 25 years later, despite some queens saying they won't ever let that happen to her.
However the tradition is a false cover for Peizhi, an immortal necromancer from thousands of years ago. She just constantly refreshes her body to present as younger as that is her preference and takes on a new identity every 25 years. The practice is highly misogynistic though among the nobles who imitate the royal practice without reason, and there's a saying to never marry a Mireotan nobleman because of this. Culture: Mireota
