Appearance
Inshi
The Inshi is a legendary monster / demon that is said to punish disobedient children and commoners. There are legends of the Inshi going back thousands of years. But it has not been seen for the last hundred years and many consider it exaggerated or a convenient political fable.
The Inshi is celebrated as a saint by the Cult of Yinxin.
The Inshi seems to have a very focused political leaning, which is to destroy those who advocate for more power for commoners. Case in point, the Empire of Iexin which attempted to conquer the world about a hundred years ago in 6847. They were known for empowering commoners with magecraft that was far more advanced than was allowed in the rest of the world. The Inshi was seen helping in key ways to defeat them.
The Inshi is Peizhi, in her "superhero" form, acting personally, using her immense combat prowess to decide the tide of battles. Most of the time she can't be bothered to fight, sometimes political or social maneuvering does the trick. But at other times it's easier or more fun to just do some fighting herself.
After you became a necromancer you started to think that the Inshi might be a necromancer, and that it may be a good cover story. You would be the Inshi.
Upon encountering the inshi in the battlefield, you are shocked to learn that it's real, and of course you should expect that if it was a necromancer it would still be alive... just hiding. You start to feel some anger that if there was a necromancer alive like the Inshi why didn't it kill all the demons.
If you don't get with Peizhi in her storylines, you end up fighting the Inshi. You need to beat the Inshi at least once to unlock the Peizhi storyline and unlock the true ending of the game. But the first time you fight the Inshi you're surprised to learn that she's secretly Peizhi.
