Lelaira Martial Tyrant
Her official title is Famulus Vindicator, one of the 6 Martial Tyrants.
Vindicators are a type of elite knights that serve the Kingdom of Ban. Famulus meaning servant or slave, related to "familiar", is the highest class of Vindicators.
She comes from a minor noble family and grew up together with the future king. The future king was third in line for the throne, and trained with her in martial arts. The two of them were exceedingly good at it, pushing each other to the limit. They promised each other that they would both make the rank of Martial Tyrant.
The two of them went on a campaign to invade Sefi, but mid invasion another neighbor (Hepin) betrayed Ban and attacked them, putting the capital under siege.
Hearing the news, they had to break off the campaign against Sefi and turn back to fight the other war. Seeing them coming, the besieging army decide to turn back to fight them, the incoming army. But the forces inside the capital decide to leave the walls to attack the invaders in a pincer.
There was a massive battle which resulted in a total victory for Ban but the two who were ahead of the King in line of succession were killed.
The future King Shi QiaoJian himself was permanently injured with a stab through the near the lungs, though he eventually recovered okay though no longer good at fighting, he's on the verge of death. The army regroups to retaliate against Hepin in a counter invasion. Lelaira goes with the campaign against Hepin, alone out of his elite unit. The rest stayed behind to protect him in the palace while he recovers. He stays behind in the capital. Though Lelaira is not the general in charge, she was the strongest person there and personally slayed the Hepin elite guards and the Queen herself. After sacking Hepin she returns to Ban and the King and renews the campaign against Sefi. Now king, Shi QiaoJian travels with the campaign as well.
This time Sefi surrenders fairly quickly, after losing only 1 small battle.
The Sefi king agrees to a surrender so long as Shi QiaoJian marries his daughter and continues his line through her. Many people were opposed and wanted Shi QiaoJian to not do that and Shi QiaoJian in fact wanted to marry Lelaira. But in the end in the interest of saving lives he accepted those demands. Though he promised Lelaira that nothing in their relationship would change and that he would always be with her.
Shi QiaoJian marries a princess of Sefi and they immediately have a child in a threesome where all the cum is given to the princess.
Unfortunately for Lelaira the new queen was very beautiful and slowly stole the King's attention. But Lelaira knew her place and just passively accepted being cucked while maintaing a good relationship/friendship with the queen.
When Zi Su plotted to have Sefi rebel supposedly under the aegis of the queen Lelaira defended the queen due to their friendship, saying that the queen was not involved. The queen pled to Lelaira to save her daughter Genibel, and Lelaira stuck out her neck to protect the innocent child out of loyalty to the queen. This led to a break between the king and Lelaira which devastated her. Lelaira in return blames Genibel for damaging her relationship with QiaoJian.
After a time Lelaira was sent away with Genibel to tutor her, and later after Genibel was sent away to a foreign place Lelaira returned to the palace. The King has started to regret his treatment of Lelaira. Lelaira worked hard to regain his trust and obtained the title of Martial Tyrant by besting other Martial Tyrants in a secret ceremony which includes mock battles.
The King is overcome with pride at having a Martial Tyrant as his Famulus Vindicator and their relationship is basically fully restored. He even starts to believe her about the Sefi queen and starts to come around to the idea that the rebellion wasn't what he thought it was.
But this time she does not get along with the new queen who is much more aggrogant than the Sefi princess who was fairly cowed as the princess of a defeated country. Zi Wuying was powerful and knew it and had an acrimonious relationship with her.
When you start rumors that Zi Wuying was messing about with the necromancer and the demons she easily fell for it. She invited Yan inquistitors into the palace to investigate. Your ninjas plant evidence and then assassinate the King.
The Queen, fearing a setup, flees the capital with her children, heading to her family stronghold. On the way she is intercepted by Duke Shi HanGen, son of the former crown prince who was killed in the battle against Hepin. She and her children are slaughtered.
The Zi army comes out into a trap and are defeated by Duke Shi HanGen as well. Lelaira participates in the battle but is injured. Duke Shi HanGen prepares to go to the capital to declare himself the new king.
You then tell Lelaira that Shi QiaoJian was actually killed by Duke Shi HanGen, not Zi Wuying, because afterall how could Shi HanGen be there so quickly unless he already knew? You remind her that Shi HanGen thinks the King killed his father and thus wants vengeance and the throne for himself.
You or your spy tells Lelaira to go to Shi HanGen to float the idea quietly and see how he responds. Duke Shi HanGen gets publically aghast and agitated in public and he can't defend himself much, because it is true he helped plot the whole thing (with you). His guilty conscience makes the accusation a bigger deal than it is. He challenges Lelaira to a duel.
Lelaira wins and kills him, declaring him guilty. This saves you from having to assassinate the Duke. The Shi army returns to their lands in disarray, fearing attack at home from the Zi if they cannot secure control over the entire country through their ruler.
This is where Genibel returns to the capital with a mercenary army from the rich rich Yao Hong. Lelaira opens the capital to her, and Genibel becomes Queen. But the first thing that Genibel does is to order the execution of Lelaira, and avenging the Shi duke, the Shi decides to support Genibel and the Zi begrudgingly agrees too. The official story that is come up with that both the Zi and the Shi ends up supporting is that Lelaira is the one who killed the King due to jealousy over him supporting Zi Wuying and that she was the actual necromancer follower that was rumored who sought to take over the kingdom.
She dies in ignamy.
