Spying

Winny Lo the archivist wanted to report on your wife's social activities in Len for a magazine in the capital.

You think there's something not quite right about her, she's talking to too many people to "just be reporting on Yaling's social events" and you tell your wife to be careful with her. She doesn't take it fully seriously (okay yeah i'll be careful) and continues to collaborate with Winny.

She ends up vouching for Winny to Cinean, and Cinean lets her to talk to various people and hang out in the inner circle.

It turns out that Winny is indeed a spy working for the Piyse government / king. It's nothing super crazy, the entire country is crawling with spies / FBI agents.

Winny has 2 routes, route 1 Winny reports you. Route 2 you interact with her a lot and she falls in love with you, betraying the king. Route 2 is not possible to play until you finished a game with Route 1.

Assuming route 1:

Winny reports you. Your military is too strong for that of a count. This strength is suspicious, it's like you're skipping out on your taxes in order to make a strong army.

The government orders you to open your books for a full accounting and give them half of your army as levies. Of course you cannot accept as that would reveal you to be the necromancer. You decide to just rebel under the pretense that the king wants to steal your title since you were unpopular among the other nobles.

You go after Winny as a spy and want her head.

Otherwise you marshall your forces to fight the Piyse army and you win easily with your strong heroes.

Militarily you crush the Piyse army and seize the capital, and after a while, become King.

After everything is over and you're settled as king...

Back at home you have the option to punish Cinean for being collaborative with a spy. I think if you do this you end up locking out Route 3 and can only do Cinean route 1 and 2.

Then when in private with Yaling you tell her that in public you had to take her side and punish Cinean, but you know that Yaling is ultimately the one to blame as Yaling made Cinean comfortable with Winny. Yaling is defensive and shirks responsibility, turning it back on you saying you're the husband, if you knew she was suspicious you should've tried harder to stop me. She dares you to punish her, before just coming onto you and giving you an exciting suck and fuck. This shows her manipulative and spoiled side.

However the next morning she admits you were right, takes responsibility, and goes to apologize to Cinean. She's saying she's now more aware of enemies. You apologize to her too, saying you wanted to shield her from this world.
