Revealing her secret

Meta Secret Reveal Plan (Introducing R4 and the overall secret throughout multiple playthroughs of the game)

We will attempt to make her identity a shocking twist while dropping hints the entire time.

To introduce R4 we'll do it slowly. First we'll discuss Hana, how she's a fake. Heroes like R2 and R3 are also slowly introduced through the general culture.

We'll further introduce C2 - the True Empress, R4 - Acting Empress, and R5 - the founding empress of medieval kpor. (Stuff that is in the standard history books)

After much historical research with Dou Rong - the researcher, we'll get a more true story.

We'll get the history of Sica, the death of SD. We'll hear about how R4 is the absolute villain. We'll hear about how there was a C1 and C3. How C3 is missing, how C3 is special and is said to return to guide the revival of necromancy that R4 destroyed.

The intent is for C3 to be a red herring. When you kill the Inshi, if you realize that Peizhi is an ancient immortal, the thought here is maybe that Peizhi is C3. It becomes a shocking twist that it is actually Peizhi when you later find out.

After you destroy the Miralei School and get access to their archives, you get the R5 account of the division.

After you complete the romance route for Peizhi she allows you to view her forgetting room, and the darkness within that she has kept away. Alternatively you also get access if you defeat her in battle after rebuffing her during her route and becoming her enemy.

You see it and realize that she's R4, the one who destroyed Sica. She's chosen to not keep some of the more intense memories of genocide on her. You are very surprised and look back on this innocent seeming guilty person.

You see from her memories her version of the division, particularly her conversation with C1.

The Surprise

• During all this, she has no idea he's discovered necromancy
• While pursuing him romantically, she discovers he's somehow achieved necromancy through completely different means than what they had discussed
• It's shocking but also explains their deep connection
• This both thrills and concerns her - he's more capable than she realized
• Creates interesting tension - should she reveal herself? Guide him? Stop him?
• She's caught between protecting him and letting him develop independently

Ancient History

After the division and C2 leaving, R4 becomes acting empress and wages war on Sica and attempts to wipe out necromancy.

R4 mostly accomplishes the task at great cost and destruction, and becomes known in history as a villainous queen. With her popularity in the dirt, she abdicates or is forced out in favor of R5, who is widely popular for having opposed the anti-Sica war.

She changes her identity with her great control over necromancy, and marries a noble who was loyal to her. She developed a practice of youthening herself every 25 years, retiring her old form at age 50 and re-appearing in society as a new and fresh 20 year old girl.

Eventually she makes her way up the ranks through marriage to become queen and is presently a queen.

She's always on the hunt for the next young man to be her husband for the next 25 years.

Princesses are mostly married off for political alliances, but that kingdom is known to do things oddly. The princess is willing to marry any Solfrey whether or not they hold a high rank, and is seen as being very "pro-people" in that way.

She has had her eye on you for a while, and you had connection on the solfrey correspondence network (SCN) even before her most recent youthening. She invites you to her coronation.

She is initially interested in you just because you are attractive and she wants to make you her king.

However she realizes that you are the necromancer and approves of your war. She tells you that she doesn't mind you trying to conquer the world, but she says that as an immortal she has no interest in it. It's like a beekeeper trying to become the queen of the bees, there's no point. She feels above it all.

Red Herring

[This is an extremely UNimportant storyline, it's okay if the red herring isn't achieved, as I do not think R4 is that easily guessable anyway.]

This red herring is entirely for the reader and not the character of MC. To him, Peizhi is a fascinating, powerful, and very forward young queen. He's trying to navigate a politically and romantically charged situation. He has no framework to assume she's C3.

On repeated playthroughs, the player is exposed to more and more of Peizhi's strangeness as well as the Inshi's strangeness. This leads them to think about possibilities to explain her behavior.

The story of C3 has to be built up slowly.

There are 3 things to reveal in the Dou Rong storyline.

1. C3 is the founder of the Cult of Yan.
2. The cult of Yan originally supported Yan Hui, the Dictator of the Sica Alliance.
3. C3 is the missing princess that disappeared before Kpor attacked... and according to legend... she'll be back.

Double-sided Secret Reveal of Both Peizhi and MC's secret Necromancy (Romance Route) [Meta Explanations]

Peizhi gets her denouement only on her romance route.

The romance route has several goals:

1. It has to be romantic and dramatic. A true beautiful romance story.
2. It has to seem natural. Peizhi's a [ATG][SA0] so we need to explain her initial attraction well without making it seem undeserved.
3. The plot should to flow without jarring jumps or relying on tropes like coincidences or fated encounters.
4. The reader also doesn't find out Peizhi's real identity until later and accumulation of hints.

We don't want Peizhi to find out early, if she does then it creates doubts in the romance, whether Peizhi's feelings are true romance vs desiring your alliance. Therefore we're going with a late game discovery, along the same lines as all your other relationships. This way you can have pure early romance unadulterated.

History with You in the SCN

As she readies her next identity, she frequently goes onto the SCN and "attends school" there as one of the nobles. She likes to do so to get in touch with current youth trends and feel like a young person, not an old foggy. While in the SCN she doesn't reveal her identity, just talks to boys mostly.

Initial Interest

A series of flashbacks reveal her adventures with you in the SCN:

Early friendship

You would impress her with your wit and talent in magical studies, discovering new things that other people haven't thought of.

• She notices MC's "Our Wonderful Natural World" podcast
• Though his takes are sometimes naive ("I'm 14 and this is deep"), she's struck by how he approaches problems from novel angles and is putting together pieces to the nature of necromancy
• She particularly notes his questioning of accepted magical theories around souls and consciousness
• She creates a persona as Peizhi to engage with him in discussion [Meanwhile in the real world she is Cao Renjie, Queen of Mireota]

You would sit around and make fun of other students.

• Developed their own coded language and inside jokes
• Creates intimacy through shared humor
• Could be used again in their adult interactions
• Shows their shared enjoyment of power/control
• Her sharing carefully selected "secrets" that seem intimate but don't reveal her identity
• Creates emotional bond without compromising her cover

Peizhi's "Vulnerability":

• Shares her feelings about having nobody that can understand her situation

• The MC tries to get her to tell him her situation, but she demures, saying that it's useless. Unless you see it and experience it first hand, you wouldn't be able to

• She's talking about immortality

• But it's a nice red herring when you first meet her regarding her Scorean situation

• She's impressed by his understanding but sees no signs of actual necromancy

• Instead, she finds herself genuinely enjoying their conversations

• She finds herself charmed by his mix of arrogance and genuine curiosity

• Basically, his personality is her type

• She starts looking forward to their talks more than she should

• She's intrigued (personal attraction) and so the necromancy motivation falls by the wayside

• One day he presents a theory about enhancing mental connection during intimacy

• It's not groundbreaking necromancy, but shows creative application of magical principles

• More importantly, the way he describes it is intimate and personal

• She realizes she's imagining experiencing it with him

• She subtly leads him in developing it, and he credits her for it and is immensely impressed by her, the attraction is mutual

No-Music Prank

One time she gets the idea to do a prank. The two of you enter an area in the SCN and put up signs that says no music. Then she starts loudly performing music in the area, quite beautifully too. Someone passes by and tries to tell you two to knock it off, before calling for an admin. When the admin shows up and you admit you were the ones who put up the sign you humiliate the passerby as a karen. She talks to you about the nature of power and questions you on why it was so enjoyable to see someone be humiliated this way. You think and eventually you say it's enjoyable because that's your power, you get to see someone who thinks they have power, but snatch that power away from them in an instant. This really makes you feel delight and secure in your own power. She is impressed by your answer.

When you do this flashback you think to yourself you've actually seen this play out first hand in a more tragic setting, what your cruel friend Yao Hong did to Anastasia Coldren, it was sort of like this.

She asks you why you were so much wiser than other people your age. You tell her that's because your crazy parents let you have too much power when you were younger and utterly failed to reign you in. You grew too fast.

You tell her that you have a secret. She really wants to know of course, but you don't tell her the secret until much later and another flashback later (significantly later in the game I think).

The secret of course is what you did to Roulan The Pet. "She was just trying to help me be a better ruler." You looked ashamed. You explain to her what you did to Roulan after Peizhi gains your confidence. You worry that she'll leak your secret, but somehow she got you to really trust her.

Peizhi embraces you, says it's all okay. She'll forgive you, and bear with you your darkness. Notably, she doesn't say to change and become a better person, she says she accepts your darkness.

Peizhi definitely influences you, but I don't want to make it sound like your villainy is caused by her grooming you. Peizhi doesn't fundamentally care about how "dark" you are. She's more into gaining your trust and letting you feel like she's on your side. She is attracted to your necromancer talents first and foremost and not really about whether or not you are a good person. She cares more that you are a smart person. Good or evil or nihilism, you will eventually figure these things out. In her world, she has all the time in the world to wait for you to enter maturity. Eventually childishness and overly emotional reactions will seem like a mere blip, something that you wish you could return to even.

You tell her that you will discover the truth behind this world. All of this happened when you were around 18 years old.

Yao Hong Flashback

One of the flashback scenes: There's a flashback scene where you with R4 saw Yao Hong get picked on, and talked to him about ways to get back at his bullies. You and R4 were making fun of him too but he was just happy there was someone talking to him.

• The Yao Hong incident shows them using their power for both mischief and occasional kindness
• They mock pretentious nobles together but also help underdogs sometimes
• Creates bond through shared understanding of social dynamics
• Shows they're clever but not just mean intellectuals

Early and Mid Phase

Early Phase (Pre-Necromancy Discovery):

• Pure romance and attraction
• She's genuinely just enjoying a passionate connection
• Living in the moment rather than planning
• Treats it as another meaningful but temporary relationship
• Still maintains her secret identity

Middle Phase (Post-Discovery):

• Shock and excitement at realizing his potential
• Begins imagining a true eternal partnership
• Conflict between maintaining her world order and supporting him
• Has to decide whether to reveal herself
• Growing possessiveness as she realizes he could be "the one"

The Fake Exile Plan

Overview

• After you become king, to get close to you because she really likes you, she contrived a plot at home that forces her to "seek protection" or some kind of exile in Len with you since you're the only one she trusts.
• This is a ploy that's easily resolved for her but she chooses to use it as an excuse to get with you. She's into games like this for fun, amusement. She's so old that she has lost sense of concepts like, big things, small things, the "important things in life". Because nothing is important, all things are small to her, therefore she only cares about enjoying herself with chasing what we might see as immature pleasures.
• She hugs you and looks legitimately scared initially. Thanks you profusely for helping her. (good acting)
• She brings a whole army of women and after a while, you realize, a decadent sexual atmosphere.
• The men of piyse was being seduced by the women peizhi brought, and discipline and intelligence leaks/spying was a huge concern to all your advisors including sunwei, yaling.

Her perspective:

• She's physically aching to be with you
• The political scheme is just an excuse for her desire
• She's almost embarrassed by how much she wants you
• She's not thinking centuries ahead, just about having you now

Trouble in Mireota

The former queen Cao Renjie's supporters have supposedly turned on Queen Peizhi, saying that she manipulated the King Loren Ping into betraying King Augon and want her deposed. They have stormed the Aoka Courtyard and Peizhi had to escape, King Loren Ping agreed that she was out of line and exiled her while the government was in crisis.

Peizhi Route Decision 1

You can get off the Peizhi route here, Yaling tells you that you should return to Len with her and leave Peizhi alone at the capital. If you agree then the Peizhi romance route is derailed and you can resume the Yaling Route. If you don't, you continue on the Peizhi Route.

Doubt

• Yaling thinks things are odd with the whole thing. Though she had agreed to host Peizhi's temporary? exile the whole entourage was too lavish and luxurious to seem like a real crisis.
• She talks to Cinean and Weilan about it, and Weilan offers up her contact in Mireota that she met during the Scorean, the one that was nice to her, name is Leiyang.
• Weilan talks to Leiyang, who seems oddly unconcerned about the wellbeing of her queen despite the supposed crisis. Though Leiyang doesn't quite give away the game, her acting is strange enough and her inability to clearly paint a picture on how dire the crisis is raises Weilan's suspicions.
• Weilan tells Yaling they should find out about things in Mireota for themselves and not rely on media (who is supporting Peizhi's crisis story) or third party reports as things don't appear to add up.
• Yaling tells you her concerns and you have no idea what she's talking about, but you respect her opinions and tells her to talk to your scout master to arrange something. Also suggests to her to maybe ask her family if she's weary of Peizhi finding out about things that are done in Len.
• Yaling thinks it's a good idea and asks her brother to send scouts.
• For now that's all there is to it, she doesn't get results for a long time, until Peizhi gets settled in and the whole drama occurs. Weeks after all that she gets an answer.

The Seduction

• Peizhi's seduction was initially slow and sensual, flirty but not over the top. It's important to first reconnect emotionally and as friends. You hang out, have languid hugs. Pure dating.
• Peizhi tells you about the enhanced mental sex magecraft she worked on. To demonstrate she brought you gifts of these sexy dancers, and says she has connected them to your presence. She has edged them for months, and they would now cum if you come close them. She can make them cum for you on sight, the instant they see you.

Competitive Reaction from Yaling

• While in Len it triggers a competitive reaction from your wife since it's obvious the queen likes you a lot.
• Yaling spreads rumors about the queen's loose morals. The rumors didn't have much effect on you.

Exposing Her

Hanzen Nor advocated to expose Peizhi to the King back in Mireota. Yaling rejected that plan because Peizhi was still an ally and it would not be good to make the Mireota king into an enemy.

At the same time he must've had some clue... Maybe he was okay with it, marrying Peizhi for the Scorean tradition but keeping a bevy of mistresses back home... might even still be with the old Queen Cao Renjie in hiding... Yaling's romantic heart wants to believe that. Maybe that's even the reason why Peizhi is acting out so much, being rejected by her husband.

Ryube Plot

• Ryube Plot is in the hero route only.
• Yaling plots to attack Peizhi by using Ryube Haerata. Yaling had gotten close to Jingfei Haerata who taught her dance moves.
• Ryube is her younger brother and handsome and dashing. He supposedly falls in love with Peizhi and tries to court her. This is really a plot to hurt the queen's reputation and make her less attractive to you.
• He would wink at her and give her gifts. She is nice to everyone but it goes too far.
• People speculate about a tryst between him and the queen.
• He does something over the top, like sneaking into her room to prepare a surprise for her.
• Upon discovering this she orders him killed on the spot, this creates a huge problem with Jingfei obviously.
• Yaling is shocked at this outcome.

The Confrontation Between Peizhi and Yaling

• The violence sends Yaling reeling, making Peizhi look like a far more ruthless foe than what felt like more controlled social maneuvering.

• She is wrecked by insecurity at whether or not to tell you to kick Peizhi out of the mansion, not necessarily Len, just where you don't see her anymore.

• Yes, she's your wife, and he has to listen to you. But what if... what if he says no. And... the thought of losing you, drove her crazy. She knew that you liked Peizhi.

• Instead, she decides to go to Peizhi to ask her what her intentions are towards her husband.

• Peizhi tells her the (fakish since she's R4, but true for the cover) story of how she met you from her perspective. Her feelings and responses to your flirting, how she fell in love, and how the banning tore you apart. Afterwards she was put on watch so that she couldn't contact you, and was only allowed freedom after she became queen.

• She took the time to wonder if she could move on from you, but she could not.

• Each time she meets you she basically falls in love again.

• Peizhi admits basically to loving you, and says so in beautiful, evocative phrases.

  • Note: These are plagiarized so get own version before printing:

• Yaling is aghast, and cries a little, telling Peizhi that she loves you too. Why did Peizhi love you so much, she wonders, it's so unfair... maybe if Peizhi loved you a little bit less, it would have been easier to deal with.

  • Though she doesn't say all this in dialogue, how she's really feeling is that if Peizhi just loved you a little bit, she could maybe put up with it, bear it out, just seduce you back, try to make you choose her, and just wait her out.
  • But she knows that Peizhi wants all of you, not just for a bit, but all of it. She's going to drag her drama into your life and ruin everything.
  • She is rather despondent and cries, because Peizhi is oh so beautiful.

• Yaling thinks she has no choice, goes to tell you that the queen is crazy.

• You either agree and side with the wife and ends the Peizhi route or choose Peizhi.

• From here you question Jingfei and gets her to confess that wife put her brother up to it.

• You start siding with the queen over the wife for her machinations.

  • Wife apologies and begs but it's too late lol you're on the R4 route. Though you forgive her you get a lot closer to R4 seeing her as a victim and becomes a little wary of your wife.
  • Yaling freaks out and consults her other girls Cinean, ZZ, and Weilan. You're fully on the Peizhi route but it's not over yet for Yaling.
  • Yaling calls her the meretricious (It means appealing and attractive on the surface but actually having little value, also means "prostitute".) queen.

• You start spending all your time with Peizhi, including nights.

• In the political route:

  • She full on joins your court and becomes a mass fight with all the girls there.

The debauchery

• Happening simultaneously to the Ryube plot...

• When she's comfortable (good acting, she was always comfortable), she unleashes the debauchery. It's a sort of sexual shock and awe to overwhelm the competition.

• The first night with her is overwhelming, you're dazed and celebrates with music, dozens of girls, intoxication. In the blur, as she's moaning on top of you, riding you. She promises you a lot of things.

• She promises to show you how not just to fight and survive, but how to live. Live like a king is meant to live, not play politics. A king of not just a country or two, but king of all that you can perceive. A king is not meant to seize and scavenge, but to just have, to just own.

Final Decision, You Choose Peizhi

• You admit your love to each other for the first time.

• You go tell Yaling the bad news. Yaling cries and asks you to promise her that you love her too.

• Yaling finally gets notice from her brother about Peizhi, and it's as suspected, the crisis made no sense, was of Peizhi's own causing, and could easily be resolved by Peizhi herself, she's just not doing so.

• It sounds crazy but it really sounds like Peizhi just orchestrated the whole thing to get to her husband, you.

• But at this stage the reveal is not a weapon for Yalilng, but more crushing evidence of Peizhi's love.

• Yaling is semi-freaking out and about to have a meltdown.

Relationship/Intimacy Deepening

• Both in terms of romance and growing connection and his favoritism, moving away from balancing between Yaling and Peizhi to fully preferring Peizhi
• And punishing her and instructing her, her willingly participating in dominance play initially, eg spanking, corner time, etc.
• Initially it was first about play and pleasing him, she's totally up for sex games. It makes her happy to see her man happy.
• after the reveals was more about defeat, helplessness, this is what she’s never felt before. That’s never happened with a man. That’s what makes her addicted and want to give him the forgetting room.

Crypto-Iexins

This requires you to be in Act 2 or Act 3.

As the war against the necromancer proceeds, the state of the world gets more dire. However Peizhi is utterly nonplussed, she thinks she can kill the necromancer at any time if it comes down to it.

She is more concerned about the Rhebryaic Order of Celestors, an order of the Cult of Yan. They are the police force of the Cult of Yan, led by the capable High Vicar Jui Su.

It was always a mixed fighting force of commoners and solfrey, but as the war against the Necromancer goes on, it starts getting more leeway to develop stronger commoner mages, much to the chagrin of the Yinxin and Peizhi.

Some consider them Crypto-Iexins. Peizhi views this as a stronger threat than the Necromancer and leaves to assassinate key members of the ROC that were pushing for the Crypto-Iexins philosophy.

While doing so, she mind controls some of your servants to disguise her movements so that you wouldn't know about her coming and going.

Yaling finds this really odd and suspicious, and she and Weilan and others start trying to find ways to follow or trap Peizhi.

The Inshi

• Peizhi realizes what they're doing and finds it quite annoying, and so she uses her scary Inshi form to mess with Yaling.

• Yaling experiences a horror storyline with the Inshi as Peizhi cruelly pranks her with ghostly apparitions to get her to freak out. Inshi

She tells you, but your relationship with Yaling hasn't been the same since the Ryube incident, and you don't take her seriously.

Peizhi's Discovery

Peizhi eventually realizes you were the necromancer by going around and mind controlling members of your staff, when she hits upon Jiaolong, she recognizes that Jiaolong was already mind controlled.

She's actually ecstatic to realize that you were the necromancer and decides to come clean in a confession.

In one conversation she reveals everything, and you share everything as well, all your secrets, talking for over 30 hours straight, stuck in your room, having sex, never leaving each others side.

When you leave, both of you are more in love than ever.

Potential Plotlines

These are in-progress plot ideas that need more work, but take these as they are so far.

The idea is to find a way to reach the character endings.

We're unsure whether or not she gives you control to her forgetting room in endings 2 and 3. In ending 3 she does for sure, the question is why.

The simplest answer is that she submits to you, like many other women in the story.

Explaining the dom angle

In short she submits to him because he is awesome, his dominance is addicting, and she starts to crave his control.

• But his forceful personality and growing power turn her own schemes against her. She thought it would be just an infatuation, she would have her lovely romantic fling and then it's onto the next 100 years, but...
• She finds herself genuinely conquered - mentally, emotionally, sexually
• She's thrilled to finally meet someone worthy of her full submission
• Surrendering the forgetting room acknowledges his total victory over her
• Giving him the forgetting room is the ultimate way to feel his control
• The fantasy is having such raw dominant energy that an immortal queen becomes your willing slave
• Maintains her character by showing her scheming nature transformed into arranging her own submission
• She's fallen so hard that rational thought no longer matters
• She KNOWS it's insane to give him this power
• She SEES his manipulation and cruelty
• But she's too far gone to care about consequences
• By giving him this incredible power over her, she's binding him to her forever
• He won't dispose of her when he has her so under control, she'll be perpetually exactly what he wishes her to be
• She's gambling that his desire to keep accessing and manipulating her memories will ensure his long-term attachment
• It's manipulation disguised as submission
• It's kinda desperate, but we don't have to present it that way
• She's betting on his sadistic streak - he'll want to keep her around to play with

For 3000 years she’s never met a man with this much real power.

Sure there’s been arrogant and dominant men, but she knows that any submission is ultimately fake, play.

This is the only man who has the ability to take it from her for real.

We can set up a battle between them to prove it to her? Where she tastes defeat and the sex afterwards is so hot? This is maybe a 1 on 1 contest where they play wrestle with magic and he somehow prevails. Or maybe there can be a more serious disagreement where they have a battle with MC using his controlled heroes.

We also find ways for him to exert that power over her with sexual dominance / punishment. And that's how we lead to her real submission.

There's a lot of things he can punish her for:

Punishment for Sica

• For 3000 years she's lived with what she did to Sica without any real consequence

• MC makes her face real punishment for the first time since the fall of Kpor

• The raceplay adds intensity - he's punishing her as a descendant of Sica

• Her submission becomes both personal and historical justice

• The power dynamic works because he's strong enough to actually dominate her

• The sex becomes about both punishment and acceptance

• She finally experiences real consequences from someone powerful enough to enforce them

• Completely consumed by desire despite her immortal perspective

• Her intelligence makes her awareness of her own irrationality more powerful

• Works well combined with the Sica punishment angle - her obsession makes her accept his right to punish her

• Could be reworked to focus on accepting real punishment

• Her submission becomes meaningful because it's genuine consequence rather than played power games

The strongest approach seems to be combining:

1. Real power/punishment (especially re: Sica)
2. Her obsessive love making her accept/desire this punishment
3. First time in 3000 years facing genuine consequences
4. Racial/ethnic revenge adding intensity to their dynamic

This gives us both the personal (her obsession) and historical (Sica revenge) elements while maintaining the core appeal of MC being powerful enough to genuinely dominate an immortal.

Punishment for Yaling Horror: Scene Progression:

1. MC discovers Peizhi (as the Inshi) has been terrorizing Yaling with horror movie scenarios

• Makes her paranoid
• Plants creepy evidence
• Uses illusions/magic to create scares
• All while pretending to be Yaling's friend
• Mind controlling her servants

2. MC's reaction is cold fury at this elaborate psychological torture of his wife

• This is personal - she's been toying with Yaling right under his nose
• Shows Peizhi's still got that casual cruelty of R4 who destroyed Sica
• Her immortal perspective making others' suffering into entertainment

3. The Punishment

• MC turns her own horror games back on her
• But with real stakes and consequences
• Uses necromancy to create genuine terror rather than illusions
• Makes her experience what she put Yaling through, but worse
• The power dynamic is perfect because he's actually capable of harming her (it's not a toy)
• Her obsession with him makes the punishment more intense - she wants/needs his approval even as he punishes her

4. Surrender

• She realizes he's the first person in 3000 years who can genuinely punish her
• Her attraction deepens because he's proving his power
• The forgetting room surrender becomes both punishment and proof of devotion
• She accepts his right to edit/control her memories as penance

This works really well because:

• Justifies MC's actions through protecting Yaling
• Shows Peizhi's immortal cruelty needs checking
• Creates personal stakes beyond just Sica revenge
• Demonstrates MC's power through turning her games against her
• Maintains erotic tension through her growing obsession
• Leads naturally to the forgetting room surrender

Routes

Default Yaling Route

In the event during the confrontation with Yaling in Len, you choose Yaling over her, she doesn't get depressed or give up. She does react emotionally, and hits out at Yaling with a couple of cutting remarks, but overall ends up calming down and retreating.

As she leaves, she laughs and expresses enjoyment at your resistance at her pursuit. From the player's perspective the Peizhi romance arc is over, however that's not the case for her. She is immortal and takes a long, patient view. She is fine with people being resistant and thinks that she can obtain victory and push it through whenever she wants.

Later on she attacks you as the Inshi, and if you lose to her she doesn't kill you, but in a mysterious scene is seen chuckling as she captures you, leading to game over.

Romance Route with Peizhi

See the "Storylines" for full explanation of this route, but basically she wins over Yaling and it's her story.

Endings (Late Phase)

1. Good End

• MC proves trustworthy with power
• Accepts and supports her world order
• They become eternal partners in maintaining the system
• She finally has someone who truly knows her

1a. Hidden Partnership

• Maintains her cover identity
• Lets Yaling remain queen publicly
• They share secret eternal bond
• Perfect balance of love and pragmatism
• Yaling can be his "mortal queen" for some decades, but eventually, she'll die/get old (and he'll be hers for the eternity afterwards).

1b. Open Partnership

• Full acknowledgment of her true identity
• Becomes his immortal queen
• Yaling pushed aside
• More dramatic but riskier
• They rule together openly

1. Submission Through Memory Manipulation

• She surrenders her memories to prove her devotion
• Keeps only what he allows
• Gets both love and continued stability
• Ultimate form of giving herself to him
• Actually quite fitting for the character - she's lived so long that surrendering her memories is the ultimate act of submission
• him mind wiping her, basically removing all her memories of all other loves she had in her life, her secrets, her dedications, etc, so that she would exclusively focus on him. Could even make her forget that she's immortal and just turn her totally into his slave. Is that too much lol?

3. Complete Destruction

• Memory wiping plus destroying her life's work
• perhaps allowing necromancer knowledge to become widespread
• Opening the gates she fought to keep closed
• The ultimate defeat of everything she is
