The spying mission

• Using coverage of Yaling's social activities as perfect cover for court access
• Building network of legitimate sources through her work
• Maintaining deep cover while gathering critical intelligence

She's determined to find out the strength of Len militarily, and second to get a grasp on your feelings and if you have the relentless, nefarious, intentions of your grandfather Ian.

She finds out that both of these things are true, you are building an army and you are negatively disposed to the King and are ambitious.

There's a decision early on whether or not you're going to give her the dick. If you don't, then you lose the opportunity to have her good end.

If your dialogue choices work out well, she becomes loyal to you. She lies to the King. If your relationship with Duke Meng Chun is bad, he sets up schemes to frame you, she helps you out of those schemes as well. But if they don't, she reports back and the King demands you hand over your titles.

Gameplay wise, the King should not be strong enough to force it. He attacks you and tries to arrest you but you rebuff him and his false justice. Your armies easily beat his back and you become essentially independent.

Post Spying Arc

She does her duty and reports on your ill intent and military threat back to the capital

• if you decline to seduce her or do her route
• She disappears, there's various reflections for multiple characters on what they leaked or recriminations or whatever.
• Effort to hunt her down throughout the kingdom, then involving other kingdoms
• After you catch her, she gets tortured and possibly killed.
• She begs you tells you how much she regrets it.

OR, if you seduce her and break her, make her submissive, she admits to her real role to you.

• You imprison her for now while getting paranoid about Piyse and prepare for war.

• After a while and you win, you let her out after she proves herself and helps you
• [Need ideas here]

OR, if you seduce her and is nice to her, she can help you, but secretly (without telling you), just send false reports back to the capital about how you're not that bad

• Slowly is drawn into your orbit.
• When you rebel she supports you secretly while not giving away her mission.
• The secret is hidden for a bit.
• When you discover it after later in the game, you punish her for a bit, fairly? [need ideas here]
