  • You're completely aware of all her issues and is doing your best to try to fix them by trying to spend more time with her, by buying her gifts, servants, tutors, philosophers to give her intellectual stimulation. You order your social secretary to give her an endless parade of social activities so that she doesn't get bored.
    • A lot of the things you do to try to please her involves upgrading and improving Len, which works for gameplay.
    • As part of your attempts to improve culture of Len you end up inviting philosophers and intellectuals to Len. In game you're able to hear some of the philosophical discussions which also gives hints to the nature of the philosophical ideas expressed in the game.

However, commoners are not encouraged to be elite mages, merely "worker mages". Therefore they do not have entry into most solfrey schools. Most solfrey schools in this context are attended by the solfrey bourgeoisie professional class. Nobility have even more exclusive education sources.
      • Yaling and the Foundation however believes that strong non-mage education is good for everyone, not just magecraft. She wants to push schools to admit commoners to study non-magecraft things, like the arts, philosophy, science, and so on.
        • To help with this, Charmlight Corporation sells magecraft suppressors. This is a device put on a commoner student that desensitizes them to magecraft being used, so that they wouldn't be able to perceive and learn it while at the school. This lets commoners safely join mage schools and graduate without ever developing elite mage skills while still taking part in some of the non-mage education offered.
          • This is another ironically "evil" tool being used for a "good" goal. Yaling personally thinks nothing of the morality of it, since her goal was always to spread education and commoners were not supposed to be magically adept anyway.
