Routes and Endings ​

General True Ending ​

In all situations, the regular ending ends with you conquering the world. In the True Ending you discover the secret of C2 and find her for a confrontation. During that fight, if you win, she traps you in the darkness of her tomb, to live with her for eternity (or at least until someone finds you).

If you have great relations with other characters, the other characters will rescue you after 2 years. This lets us essentially get an epilogue of how the other characters carry on without you and which of them are strong enough to discover and save you.

Possible endings ​

  1. You rule the world together and start a new dynasty. You can optionally elevate her as your queen and share power. She is head over heels in love with you, you are the light in her life. (Love 100, Trust 100)
  2. Your greatest ally, your lover and your co-conspirator. You took on the world together. She is obsessed with you, but is hurt that you're not giving back what she's giving you. (Love 100, Trust 80)
  3. Your wife is your loyal lover by your side, but it's now a complicated relationship where she needs to protect herself rather than trust you fully to look out for her interests. (Love 90, Trust 60)
  4. Your wife is a good friend with independent interests (Love 70, Trust 40)
  5. Your wife is aghast that you are the necromancer, and grows distant and detached, letting you do whatever you want. (Love 30, Trust 40)
  6. Your wife is spurned romantically, her world darkened by the betrayal of the romance she has put her whole heart and soul into. (Love 50, Trust 50)
  7. You break her and turn her into one of your devoted followers who live only for you and have no sense of self.

Canonical True Route ​

We want this route to be the real Yaling Chun that people get to know. Gameplay wise you'll have to finish this route before being able to unlock Peizhi or Cinean Routes.

In this route Yaling is fully supportive of you all the way to the end. In your absence, she has you deified as a god, and herself a goddess. When you are imprisoned, she marshalls all resources to save you. When she does, you return as gods who rule the world together.
