Concept

The idea is to create special / elite characters that feel especially good to conquer. So in contrast to our player character who excels by being smart and hardworking, let's make additional characters that have long generational investment, acknowledgement, and innate magical talent. These people are the elite of the elite, and thus highly envied and coveted, even by us, who is already a noble.

It's important to build up these characters by

1. Giving them a long history of achievement and recognition
2. Showing them as being very talented and powerful
3. Show off their personality and having a happy life
4. Place their importance in historical context, not just a single person

Based on the Haruhi where she's unaware of her own power, and the other characters are aware of her power and are trying use her power to their own ends.
