Overview

Minor quest.

She's the illegitimate Daughter a neighboring count with one of his female viscountess. The Count is married to another count, a neighbor. They would've merged their counties and passed it onto their first-born son.

Her adopted father is the baron, and when he found out he tried to kill his wife. The daughter protected her in patricide and killed her own cucked father.

Her real father, the count, protected her and took her from prison, but she ended up being almost poisoned.

The Count, your friend, asks you to protect the daughter. She is not safe in that county. She is being targeted for assassination by his wife, the Countess.

Other Thoughts

There was some thought about showing-not-telling the backstory, but this backstory is vaguely NTR, so the final decision is to avoid it and just have it serve as her tragic backstory.

Quest

You can convince her to join the Hila and abandon politics. This gets you +1 REL with the Count. Later, you hear that she's killed once there.

You talk to her and allow her to stay with you in your party. Your relationship develops further, she survives another assassination attempt where you kill the assassin.

You can use a hero mission to find the employer of the assassin. If you do so you'll get +2 REL with the Count.

• Lord asks you to take care of his daughter from a mistress who is going to be assassinated by a concubine.
• You can either convince her to join the Hila/Yan Orders, ending the quest and getting +1 Noble REL.
• You can keep her in your party for the Party REL boost there.
• She will survive an assassination attempt, and you will capture the ninja.
• You can use a hero assignment to figure out which concubine hired the ninja. +3 Noble REL.
