Duke Meng Chun of Acasa is the Administrator of Acasa.

A reasonable guy who is rather biased against you, especially feels competitive with you since you outperformed his first son academically.

He is mad at your grandfather for betraying his father and sees you as his enemy, and distrusts you, but he will relent once you show him your strength and true feelings for his daughter.

68 years ago your Province of Len was part of the Duchy of Acasa. However during the war between the Kingdom of Nebim and the Kingdom of Piyse you defected from Acasa and Nebim to Piyse. Eventually Piyse defeated Nebim and annexed it, however Len was given independence from Acasa even though Acasa and Len's rulers stayed on in hereditary office.

Your grandfather is the one who did the defection. Your grandfather was an ambitious man who became good friends with the King of Piyse after he saved the Piyse's daughter from a magical explosion. Impressed, he promised him the Duchy of Acasa if he defects and conquers it. Your grandfather waged war against Acasa and was eventually repelled in the 15-year war. There were many twists and turns during the war but other generals eventually led to the victory over Nebim. The war was seen around the world as "unjust", though Nebim Your grandfather was sidelined

He comes up with a plan to get you framed for a crime.

The crime:

He spreads the rumor that your book is actually written by your editor. He also raises the suspicion that you are plotting to defect from Piyse to one of the Queens of the other countries that you are friendly with, either Ban or R4. For reasoning he says you are probably still mad at Piyse controlling so much oil in Len and the military buildup.

He claims that you have secret military forces you are hiding from King Augon Chao (true).
