Her Past With You
- She tells you early on that she has a formative memory with you. When you were 18 and she was 12, you were frequently at the library that her mother had built.
- She says, you remember when I was 12, I convinced you there was secret VIP section in the library with secret books, and you begged me for access to it.
- You say: I don't think I begged you...
- She says: It took you a while to realize it was a prank!
- You say: You set it up perfectly, haha. And then I pranked you back by asking if this and that book was in it. You were getting really curious too. You thought I was listing actually forbidden books haha. But actually I just made up all those titles.
- You were definitely curious about the VIP section and it made you realize how you would feel if there were books that were forbidden to you, just like how there are solfrey texts that all solfrey could read but that are forbidden to any commoners.
- It was a good and funny prank. You got her to admit that she was secretly interested in the forbidden books, though she is not allowed to say or ask to see them, that in itself could already get her in trouble.
- However she admitted it to you. You felt bad about her curiosity and what trouble it may lead her into if she continues on that path so you disabuse her of the notion.
- At the very end, the you will tell her to not seek out the forbidden books, they're actually full of unhelpful nonsense, the stuff that overly pretentious people keep around to fluff their ego and think they're oh so special or higher class. It's best to study practical things like Math. You make fun of the the forbidden texts and say anything worth knowing had all been leaked already. Trying to read the books themselves is pointless.
- You say this because you think you're genuinely helping her, it would suck to yearn for those books but never get them.
- She tells you that she took what you said to heart and became a mathematician, a really good one too.
- You act surprised, the bookish library girl turned into a nerd?
- She acts all offended and you laugh and say that no, she turned into a beautiful flower. She's all blushing.
Her Introduction
- One of the first events in the game, her mother Chunhua Kung, "The Architect" who built a library for your parents, presents her to you at your court for the "Right of First Refusal".
- In a dramatic scene, Chunhua Kung and Weilan Kung comes to you to present you with the Right of First Refusal. Shockingly, despite you being a lord of good repute, recently married, your families being close, and being against all social expectations, you decide you want Weilan for yourself.
- The listed are all reasons why the Kungs would think you would refuse.
- However they still had the option to do it another way, eg buy a refusal from a service as they are well to do, and perhaps should have done so as Weilan is very beautiful.
- They did it the "proper" way because they
- are your direct vassals, your family being their patrons. They have a relationship to you and thus have respect for you.
- Weilan insisted because of her personal history with you. She feels a closeness and have an unacknowledged crush on you. So even though she was about to get married to someone she was "fated" to be with, she still wanted to give you the chance to take her.
- Of course this is because you sense red string of fate on her. Though at that point in the story you and the reader don't understand what it is and you just seem like a villain.
- But this will make sense once you reach the end of the game.
- At the time it's just shocking and you had to put effort into reassuring her that Weilan would be well treated as your Ji. You would treasure her as she is a very beautiful girl. However your reassurances are not romantic at all, they still show that you view Weilan as mostly an object and a conquest.
- Chunhua can't protest but you can see that she is distraught for her daughter, if not for the fact that Weilan herself seems nonplussed.
- Chunhua feels assuaged by the idea that this is maybe something that Weilan is okay with.
- Weilan herself is very okay with it. She was shocked at first but quickly gets over it and starts seeing the bright side. She gets to be with a solfrey noble, which is amazing, even as a Ji. She is sure that you are a good person, and she was always interested in you due to your history together.
- There's an initial honeymoon stage where the two of you are very happy with your decision. There's lots of hot sex and everything's great.
- After she leaves you call your social secretary Jiaolong Lifen to write letters to the fiance telling him to forget about Weilan by the order of the Count of Len and another letter to Chunhua thanking her for producing such a gift to you, and that she'll be well honored.
- Also reinforces the notion that commoners don't count, having loyalist children with commoners don't count as cheating. Your wife has no problems with this. In addition, upon meeting Weilan she sees a very pretty and respectful young girl who she likes, and she can sense the red string of fate as well, leading her to vocally support your decision to take her.
- Weilan is very cheered and happy with your wife's support.
Her First Meeting with Yaling
- Soon after there's another event where you introduce her to your wife for the first time. You explain your library encounter, but then you say you don't think you saw her again.
- She says she saw you multiple times during county events but you never noticed her.
- Is that so? Wouldn't I have remembered seeing someone as beautiful as you all those times? I guess I just couldn't resist your beauty on that day when you presented.
- You make fun of her saying, usually when girls go to the Right of First Refusal they dress down and purposefully try to make themselves look ugly, but you looked beautiful as ever. Did you want this?
- She quickly says, "not as beautiful as your wife".
- Your wife laughs and says she's such a well mannered and respectful girl. She's lovely.
- Then they go off and have fun conversations without you...
- Later at night your wife debriefs you on her. She reassures you that she likes Weilan and feels totally fine with her. She uses an idiom that means commoners are just sex toys and it's impossible to care or feel any jealousy over them. "I don't care if you masturbate with her, just like I don't care about Zhenzhen." Setting a stark contrast again with the solfrey commoner divide.
Peizhi's Scorean
Early Ji Period & Identity Formation
- Initial honeymoon phase of pure joy at being chosen
- Mini emotional arc about becoming a ji. She meets people whispering about her in the manor, impressed and praising her beauty, saying that master never did such things, never had a ji before, was always obsessed with his wife and such a nerd. She wonders why he changed and took her, and thinks it must've had to do with their childhood connection and thinks since she always had a crush on him it might be fated.
- Status as "first Ji" creates unique pressures and possibilities
- Sees extent of MC's celebrity in Len, people lining up to speak to him in public, and so on.
- Growing awareness of other women's interest in MC
- Show MC being inundated with attention from people who wants to be ji. People line up to talk to him (as a lord and celebrity). There's been an increase in rights of first refusals from beautiful women. Including a foreign blogger who Weilan knows is a fangirl. She traveled all the way from Hepin with both her parents to get a first refusal from him. MC remarks how back in the day you can only get a first refusal from a local solfrey (but hasn't been the case for thousands of years as feudalism got weakened). Weilan is threatened by the potential thought of having to deal with another ji she has a rivalry with or doest like her. Wants to forestall that or first build an alliance network with people who are friendly. Her friends or parents, including both mom and dad could advise her on this.
Finance storyline
When she was young, she showed a slight interest in forbidden books. When you saw that you discouraged her from it and told her to study math instead.
Studied math as was suggested, went into finance and participated in developing the equivalent of the Black-Scholes model for their world. Was going to marry another person in finance.
- Her fiance is a business partner of the bank that she works at. He's a foreigner from Sangyue. He saw her once, had a conversation, and just decided then and there to marry her. Even though they didn't seem to actually like each other and had difficulty understanding each others accents, they agreed to get married because of the demon red string of fate. However this person is never shown in the game and isn't really a character.
- After you get her, you show her around your world, not just take her traveling, which she loves, but also in the SCN.
- You take her to the private rooms in the SCN, including where the Milliren started.
- She has an idea though, to do dark pools trading in the SCN. This place, I can trade derivatives here. You stare at her blankly. If I can get all the clients here, we can start a private trading network where assets can change hands without affecting prices. You still don't understand.
- After she gets stolen by you, her fiance canceled the business deal. The firm's trustee, a wealthy solfrey, talks to you about him and tells you that it's problematic what you did and requests assistance.
- Due to their firm's importance to providing financing for Len, you need to head off this problem.
- You learn from Weilan Kung about the huge potential of the firm. How she helped the firm develop Black Sholes, a way to accurately price options using advanced mathematics.
- She theorizes that with an accurate options pricing you can sell more complex derivatives and create huge amounts of wealth.
- The firm is in some financial straits due to the difficulty of acquiring sufficient calculators and network tools to fully do all the calculations necessary.
- It's very hard to expand the black-sholes operations because it's hard to find calculators who have the right combination of math and magecraft and won't leak the information.
- Since there are no electronic computers, calculators are people who just sit and do math with networked-tools.
- Network tools are commoners whose brains have been linked together with magecraft to do math. They have been trained to memorize and have a huge intuition for math. They meditate in a zen state in large chambers called math centers.
- Calculators can connect to networked tools through networkers who route the processing, letting them do the complex calculations required by black-scholes.
- Since there are no electronic computers, calculators are people who just sit and do math with networked-tools.
- The firm is very successful and Weilan helps implement a big expansion and lead the dark pools project.
- You need advice on finance as you don't really understand the situation, at this point you also don't know if you can trust Weilan's financial advice. You ask the person who you know best for this, Shuqin Tao.
- Shuqin Tao is your ex who wants to use this as a way to get back in your life.
- She tells you that the ideas are good, and that she'll help you buy the firm. She gives you an extremely favorable loan so that you become the controlling shareholder of the firm and pay off the existing owners.
- You also fund a mass expansion of calculators and network tools using commoners that you control through your necromantic powers, unknownst to Weilan, though later she'll put two and two together.
- After you stabilize the firm you implement the 2 innovations, black sholes for accurate options pricing and enhanced products and then dark pools.
- Firm purchase arc detailed separately.
- This turns into a huge success and a great deal of income for you.
- You take all credit for the success due to the Solfrey system.
- This sets you up for an assassination attempt.
Return to work
After the honeymoon phase and MC gets busier...
The Tracking Ward
When Weilan returns to finance. She first goes to MC to ask for permission and as a way to contribute to his success as she spends more time away and she's futilely waiting around for him to show (as helped by ZZ). ZZ actually advises her against it, saying that distance or being busy or having another life will make the MC lose interest in her, but she didn't listen to ZZ. This gives ZZ more jealousy and despair when she realizes how successful Weilan is in adding to her appealing by having her own accomplishments.
When Weilan returns to work she begs MC to give her a tracking ward, it'll record all the sensory data of the day's events and MC can look at it any time. It gives her a lot of security and closeness to MC, strengthens their bond, though it's not explicitly said, it removes any even the tiniest possibility of concern by the MC of her having another life, lets her proudly show her total loyalty to MC even at work, and this total transparency gives her faith and security in MC's faith and security in her, it's a strong effect. She also starts wearing the ward everywhere, never taking it off even for an instant, for the rest of her life.
When weilan begs you for more control, she talks about it from the perspective of her own safety. There are ladies who disapprove of her at court, and there are famous stories of kings in the past who would be lied to by evil advisers who would then cause the loyal ji to lose the love of their master under a cloud of suspicion. (Actually the goal here is to show the effects of propaganda to justify control by media presenting it as something good for commoners). Though she doesn’t say it out loud she also knows sometimes lords use it as an excuse to get rid of their women lawfully. In reality though it’s just an excuse and not what it’s about, she gets off sexually on your control and this is just a layer of rationalization, though she makes it sound like it’s something deathly important to her. You initially mention about how it would take effort and assistant mages to setup the ward but give in after seeing how important it is to her. She makes it out to be a matter of life and death.
The ward request shows her character flaws and sets up future developments. It fits her psychology because:
- She thinks she can intellectually solve everything
- Classic overachiever response to emotional problems
- Shows her professional mindset bleeding into personal life
- Believes transparency and monitoring equals intimacy
- Overconfident in her ability to "manage" the situation
- The ward request itself reveals her anxieties while showing her denial
- Deep down knows ZhenZhen has a point about distance
- Uses practical solution to avoid emotional complexity
- Thinks perfect transparency will prevent any issues
- Pride in finding a "smart" solution others haven't thought of
- Sets up her later realizations that:
- Technical solutions can't fix emotional needs
- The issue isn't about monitoring but feeling owned
- Distance happens regardless of transparency
- Needs deeper submission, not just surveillance
- Professional success creates independence even with perfect monitoring
This makes the ward her first "clever" but ultimately insufficient solution, leading naturally to her later attempts with the Ji-seeking project and sex coordinator. Each attempt shows her gradually understanding what she really needs.
The hubris works because it's exactly how someone smart but inexperienced would approach the problem - thinking they can outsmart emotional issues with practical solutions.
Later on the ward is a source of angst:
- She wants to “test” the ward to see how much MC cares to pay attention to what it’s recording
- She's constantly thinking of you watching her.
- In reality you basically don't.
- There's something both touching and tragic about her checking with Jiaolong whether MC has reviewed any ward recordings lately. She tries to ask casually, maintaining dignity, but inside she's desperate to know if he's watching.
- Jiaolong doesn't know, he hasn't mentioned it, but it doesn't mean he doesn't.
- She simultaneously wants total surveillance and feels embarrassed by how much she wants it. She's both proud and ashamed of how thoroughly she performs for a recording he might never watch.
- She wants to put on performances for you, but thinks it's probably "wasted" as you probably don't watch. But she doesn't want to bother you by asking you to watch, and make her "high maintenance". Just implementing the tracking ward is difficult enough, he has to spend money to employ commoner mages to upkeep it (similar to shieldbearers).
But she overcomes this angst quick when you drop a comment about something she did, indicating that you do watch on occasion. She feels incredibly gratified by this. She's satisfied that you were amused by her. Even though she knows that you don't watch most of what she wants to show you, even the little bit of amusement she brought you made it not feel wasted.
- It's fine, true submission is for her to serve you no matter what, even if it takes a great deal of sacrifice on her part. In fact, the fact that it is a great deal of effort to put on these performances for you for only a little gain makes her feel more submissive (it's a great feeling).
- She gets used to then talking to you, like it's a journal, or explaining her decisions at work or thoughts out loud, as if you were watching, without worrying about whether you actually watch it.
- When she's alone, she sometimes whisper things to the ward she's too shy to say to MC directly.
She deliberately walks past places with meaning to their relationship - the library where they first met, spots where they've had intimate moments. She lingers just long enough to show she remembers, but not so long it seems staged. The ward becomes almost like a diary, recording her personal monument to their story.
In moments of insecurity, she might stage little "accidents" - dropping something that shows a hint of lingerie, or leaving a personal note about him partially visible. Then she feels foolish and childish for such obvious ploys, even as she hopes they might draw his attention to the recordings.
The most heartbreaking tests might be when she's genuinely upset - after he misses a meeting or she sees him focused on another woman. She lets herself cry but tries to cry beautifully, then feels pathetic for performing even her real pain for the ward's gaze.
For the ward to make sense there needs to be a notification / search system for him to know if she's doing something wrong so that he would know to check it, or else it's kinda useless.
- If there is, she can try to purposefully "test it" to see if it's working and to get attention and maybe funishments.
- If there isn't, maybe that contributes to the feeling that the "ward isn't sufficient" which leads her to beg for more rules later? The ward should provide some kind of search function i guess, maybe to moments that are tied to brainwaves or body functions, something lol, like if she feels guilty or stressed, etc. But that sort of thing would be hard for her to deliberately try to trigger?
I feel like it's weird for Jiaolong to be her "captor". Maybe a different (not in the current docs shown to you) person could be the viewer, or maybe MC could go through it himself if the search function is easy to use enough. He can maybe go weeks or months without viewing it and then just go through it rapidly.
Just brainstorming not sure yet
At the firm
The storyline at the firm is that it's in a quite a negative state with the disruption due to the pull out of the investor fiance. The solfrey owners then seek you out to complain about things and for your help. At first Weilan tried hard to stop it and to not let them bother you, but eventually she convinced herself that it was an opportunity instead.
Social Club Situation
Financial Firm Purchase
- You buy the firm with the help of loans from Shuqin.
- You are of course the new trustee and chairman of the board. But for CEO you can choose between yourself, Shuqin, or to hire as CEO Sin Co Bin, a renowned sage that you have known for years.
- In all cases the CEO doesn't actually do any work, the commoners run the company, primarily Weilan (Commoners cannot be CEO as per Rights of Solfrey).
- Using Shuqin is free and required for her route to proceed.
- Being CEO yourself gives -REL with Yaling and Zhenzhen, but +REL with Weilan. It also enables 2 extra work-sex scenes.
- Sin Co Bin CEO costs money.
Physical/Sexual Development & Development of Submissive Desire
- The progression from initial submission to actively seeking ways to please you
- Her development of specific sexual specialties (anal) to carve out her niche
- The contrast between professional meetings and intimate moments
After the initial successes
- Weilan begs you to give her a shorter leash after she succeeds in business. She wants and needs to feel like her service is for you. It’s not good enough if you just appreciate her passively, but she wants to feel like you’re driving her success and taking ownership of her. The ward is good start but something more needs to be done. The stuff she tells about belong to you and everything being yours etc, she doesn’t want it to be just surface level, she wants it to be real feeling, so that she’s not a liar and everything feels internally consistent. This psychology needs to be developed further on why. You try to come up with a sensible way for her to feel your constant control. Maybe more rules maybe something else.
- She shouldn't have the language to process this, but you do through your knowledge of slave psychology.
- Yao Hong should've taught you much about slave psychology. - eventually the goal of all slave training is for them to pass the point where submission is natural, but to want to submit, where the lack of submission is terrifying and evil.
- She shouldn't have the language to process this, but you do through your knowledge of slave psychology.
- Weilan is in a frenzy during her honeymoon period, deliriously drunk and horny, when he gives her an order she follows with desire. She doesn’t even need a response or praise to feel good about it, just the mere act of obeying him electrified her. She was addicted to his orders, want more and more and more, it was just so exciting. So when it slowed she had a rather depressing comedown, a realization that the honeymoon phase could not be sustained.
Initially, being your Ji gave her both status and security that she wants to maintain:
- Clear role/purpose
- Your protection/favor
- Sexual validation
- Status among commoners as your Ji
- Freedom to be openly sexual within safe bounds
- Being chosen as Ji validates her hidden attraction to you
- Gets to be openly sexual and desired rather than just a "proper" professional
- Feels special as your "first Ji"
- The structure of belonging to you provides safety to explore these feelings
- Your appreciation of both her beauty and mind makes her feel truly seen
Her business success starts eroding this:
- More independent decision-making
- Less direct interaction with you
- Growing personal power
- Others see her as a businesswoman first, Ji second
- The clear master/Ji dynamic becomes blurred
- Success at work starts creating distance from that initial intimate dynamic
- Less time for sexual service means less of those validating moments
- Her competence is praised but it doesn't give the same emotional satisfaction as pleasing you directly
- She misses feeling like your sexual property (the Ji-seeking project comes from this)
- Still proud of her work but it doesn't provide the same sense of safety/belonging
This creates anxiety because:
- The original safe structure is weakening
- Her success feels disconnected from serving you
- She's losing the clear markers of belonging to you
- The boundary between independent actor and Ji becomes unclear
- Realizes what she's really seeking is to recapture that initial sense of being completely yours
- Her anxiety isn't about sex frequency but about losing the clear owner/property dynamic
- Work success actually threatens this because it makes her feel too independent
- The rules system helps integrate her work success into her service to you
- She can feel powerful at work while still feeling owned by you
This creates a coherent arc: She discovers being your Ji let her be both sexual and successful in a way that felt safe, then has to find a way to maintain that safety as she grows more professionally capable.
The "submission gives meaning" angle works as framed through Weilan's established traits:
- Her childhood fascination with you
- Her practical acceptance of hierarchy
- Her preference for clear structures and rules
- Her desire to excel within proper bounds rather than break them
The Ji-Seeking Project (Comedy Arc)
- Decides to proactively manage future Ji situation
- Creates detailed criteria for "acceptable" Ji candidates
- Vets women for compatibility with herself
- Presents carefully selected candidates to MC
- Increasingly elaborate schemes MC remains oblivious to
- Show MC being visibly uninterested in another ji despite her ploys to bring him other wealthy and highly educated women. He's still obsessed with his wife, r4, or other important characters, when so she puts a beautiful woman with a great personality in front of him he treats her like absolute trash, pumps and dumps, then gives away to male heroes to fuck. The other girl is crying afterwards and Weilan tries to soothe her but is thinking she failed her audition. Then Weilan tries to think about what it is about her that allowed her to succeed and with a sample size of one isn't able to find a good answer, finally decides that it must be because she was a inexperienced virgin, and sought out another like her. When he rejects the other one again she gives up, just reflects on how lucky she is that she's treated well and is the only Ji.
- Failed candidates needing consolation
- Growing confusion over what made her special
- Virgin theory and subsequent virgin hunt
- More spectacular failures as she overthinks everything
- Comic relief in contrast between her schemes and MC's disinterest
- Eventually realizes she's his only Ji through his actions
- Jiaolong sees Weilan's project as harmless attention-seeking behavior from an insecure Ji. She allows it because stopping it would create more drama than letting it play out naturally. This fits Jiaolong's role as efficient manager.
Deeper Meaning Behind the Project
- This deeper meaning is mostly subtextual and mentioned only a tiny bit.
- She's unconsciously trying to prove her devotion by showing she's so secure in MC's love that she'll literally help find him other women. But each time he rejects a candidate, she feels both relief AND an urge to try harder, to show she's not failing him. Her very anxiety about pleasing him becomes another way to please him. Surface level: Practical reasons about managing drama and finding compatible companions Mid-level: Demonstrating her non-jealousy and depth of submission Deep level: Maintaining the crucial fiction that she has choice and agency in her own subjugation
Narration for the Ji-seeking project
The firm's success brings Weilan immense satisfaction - every profitable trade feels like a gift to MC, every expansion a way to prove her worth. Yet as she drowns in work and he focuses on his growing political ambitions, their passionate encounters become less frequent. The times she'd spend lounging in his study, available for his pleasure, are now filled with meetings and strategic planning.
During the Scorean, she had met other Ji who warned her about the natural cycles of a solfrey lord's attention. While MC's passion hasn't diminished, their encounters have become shorter, a quick break rather than the main event of her day.
During a quiet moment with her mother, Weilan confesses her fears about the growing distance.
Chunhua launches into unsolicited expertise about managing powerful men. "Of course he needs more Ji," she declares with the confidence of someone who's never actually been one. "Men of his status always do. You should choose them yourself - select friends you trust, create your own inner circle. That way you'll always know what's happening in his household." She lays out an elaborate strategy as if she's been managing harems for decades rather than designing buildings.
Several of Weilan's friends, who once mocked "solfrey simps," now openly express interest in serving MC. "You could introduce us," suggests Ming Su, her brilliant but overeager colleague. "We could keep him company when you're busy with the firm." The idea of sharing MC with someone she actually likes and trusts starts to seem reasonable.
The project begins with careful consideration. Each candidate needs to be someone Weilan genuinely enjoys - after all, they'd be sharing intimate spaces. She creates mental checklists: beautiful but not threateningly so, intelligent enough for conversation but not ambitious enough to cause trouble, and most importantly, someone who would be grateful to her for the opportunity.
Sex Coordinator Arc & Aftermath
After the success at the financial firm she gets quite a bit of spending money and hires a sex coordinator.
- Sex coordinator teaches her new moves and suggests incredible adventures.
- Adventure idea: roleplaying as school kids and having sex at school. You've never attended a public school so it was quite an experience.
Investment in self-improvement through coordinator
Not just sexual training but refinement of Ji role
Devastation when coordinator is poached by Yaling
Not just loss of training but confirmation of status
Realizes even her self-improvement belongs to Yaling
Internal pressure to prove worth naturally
Gladiator scene highlights class differences.
- Show her planning something elaborate but within her capabilities
- Have it fall apart when coordinator leaves
- See Yaling execute a grander version
- Instead of being bitter, she uses this to fuel her focus on what she CAN do well
- Leads to developing her own ways to please MC that fit her status
- We can also make the sex coordinator plot more impactful when she loses it, maybe she had some major thing planned that wouldn't be carried out. Maybe she rejected the gladiator idea because she wouldn't be able to fight well, but the solfrey noble in Yaling can, and this makes her feel inferior again.
The sex coordinator situation also shows her psychology around submission. She's not just trying to improve her skills, she's trying to demonstrate that she actively pursues better ways to submit rather than merely accepting her role to prove to herself that she's choosing the submission, that the submission is her will, that all of her actions are done out of love. When Yaling takes the coordinator away, what hurts most isn't losing the service but losing another way to prove her submission is chosen.
When Weilan initially hires the coordinator, it comes from a place of genuine desire to please MC better, but also this deep psychological need to prove she's not just passively accepting her role but actively choosing it. Every new skill or scenario she learns becomes another way to show "See? I'm not just doing this because I have to. I'm investing my own money, my own initiative, to find new ways to submit."
The sessions with the coordinator become almost competitive - not with other women, but with some imagined version of a "mere" Ji who just accepts their position. When the coordinator suggests scenarios or skills, Weilan doesn't just learn them, she elaborates on them, tries to perfect them, turns them into performances that scream "willing participation" rather than "trained behavior."
So when Yaling takes the coordinator away, the real gut punch isn't losing access to new techniques. It's losing this carefully constructed proof of her agency in submission. Suddenly she's just another Ji being controlled by her master's wife, exactly the image she's been desperately trying to rise above.
What makes it worse is that Yaling probably doesn't even think of it as a cruel act - just a noble wife naturally claiming something that interests her. This casual exercise of power strips away all Weilan's careful pretense that her submission is somehow different or special because it's chosen.
Assassination
- Because you were credited with your successful firm you were targeted for assassination by rival financial firms that were getting destroyed. They thought you were a genius.
- This is the first time the firm had done this type of deal.
- Weilan pushed really hard for this deal, saying the firm deserved to be a top tier firm and used the dark pools credibility to now expand to all parts of business that it didn't used to do before.
- At the start of it you praise her and she basks in the glow of your praise.
- Your firm is now famous and called to underwrite a bond sale / sovereign debt for the country of Hansei.
- You had just beaten out the former top financial firm for this, Crownmarket Ironflow, stealing their clientale.
- During the deal, Crownmarket Ironflow attempts to assassinate you.
- If Shuqin is CEO, you hide your necromantic powers and wait for Shuqin's bodyguards to fight off the assassins, she tells you to run away. You grab Weilan and retreat, but is ambushed. Weilan is killed, you are injured, knocked out, and we proceed to the Shuqin Route.
- If you are CEO, you use your necromantic powers to beat off the attackers. you are injured, but due to being a necromancer, you quickly recover, though the injury looks more serious to other people.
- If Sin Co Bin is CEO, then he defeats the assassins, you suffer a minor injury and Weilan protects you.
Assassination Aftermatch
- Assuming Weilan survives of course:
- Weilan feels really bad about bringing you this much attention, guilt and self recrimination about pride in her financial success, about how she was inflating her own ego alongside building your fame.
- Particularly devastating because she prides herself on serving within proper bounds, and her hubris had such consequences.
Late Game Status Evolution
- Naturally becomes more valued without seeking it
- Other women come to her for advice/influence
- Financial success brings automatic respect
- MC increasingly relies on her capability
- All achieved without improper ambition
- Success through perfect service rather than climbing
- Maintains proper humility despite rising influence
- Others see her as example of ideal submission
Post-Ending Development
- MC's imprisonment forces independent action
- Must protect his interests while maintaining proper role
- Uses financial influence to support rescue efforts
- Manages alliance network in his absence
- Demonstrates growth while staying true to character
- Never loses fundamental submission
- Action driven by devotion not ambition
- Maintains proper behavior even in crisis
- Proves worth through unwavering loyalty
- Returns to sweet submission upon his return
Her reaction to realizing you are the necromancer
- Awestruck, feels like she's won the lottery, like the luckiest girl in the world. Her station has really changed so much since that day of her presenting her Right of First Refusal to you. She was a nobody, and ever since then it was like she was grabbed on the shoulders by the claws of a high dragon, who flew with her into the heavens. She is now so close to the seat of ultimate power in the world, someone who would rule like nobody before.
- It's an oh wow, this is really happening feeling. She's grateful, but also feels like it's fragile, but on some level, it just makes sense. This has been her trajectory, and every step of the way she has both grown and have been given, been showered and soaked in the glory reflected from her master.
Breeding
Conception
The conception trigger may be the assassination. So full of emotion at surviving possible death, including Weilan's possible death, you decide to just have a kid with her alone or her and Shuqin in a 3-some where they both get pregnant.
During conception the MC take care to protect the fetus with necromantic magic so that it can be a solfrey.
However... The conception could be separated from the assassination attempt - they're serving different character needs and may be more impactful as distinct events.
Possible ideas for conception trigger:
- Dynasty Building
- After MC becomes more powerful, Weilan proposes having children to secure his legacy
- Ties to her professional mindset about long-term planning
- More strategic/intellectual approach to breeding
- Verdict: Fits her character better than emotional reaction to danger
- Competition With Others
- Watching other women vie for breeding rights
- Uses her business acumen to present logical case for why she should bear first heir
- Shows her maintaining proper submission while still achieving goals
- Verdict: Creates interesting dynamics with other characters
- Practical Submission
- Realizes providing heirs is ultimate form of service
- Transforms professional success into reason she deserves breeding
- Verdict: Most thematically consistent with her character
Extended pregnancy / breeding storyline
This is also very interesting to read about, including the reactions of other characters, and Weilan starting to stand up for her child. This could trigger a wave of breeding among all your women.
Legacy & Children
- Growing awareness of need for loyalist children
- Not just desire but duty to provide MC's heirs with properly indoctrinated loyalist supporters, as well as grandchildren for her parents
- Careful planning of timing and circumstances
- Pride in potential to give MC children
- Competition with other women over breeding rights
- Strategic considerations about children's future
- Building alliances to protect future children
- Using financial success to secure children's position
- Balance between mother's pride and proper submission
- Satisfaction in creating lasting connection to MC
- Using her fertility as weapon against Zhenzhen's infertility
- If Weilan's emotional arc is more about being sweet and optimistic and isn't designed to be dark, it still needs dramatic content but maybe we can do it on the other side? Give her an EPIC romance and love story with a beautiful fairy tale ending? Could involve the utter destruction of all rivals or just really sweet love? Maybe the first ever child born from a Solfrey - Commoner who's also a Solfrey instead of a commoner... Since we're a necromancer we figure out a way to shield the child from demonic forces while being gestated. Though we gotta be careful when thinking about this. All characters are supposed to have a romantic good ending, the only way to make it more epic is to give her a greater, COMPLETE victory. But is there a way to do it without ruining her theme of being normal.
- Love the idea of the first Solfrey child from a commoner mother! This could be:
- A complete validation of her position
- Proof that MC values her above traditional boundaries
- Something no other woman has achieved
- Shows MC's growing power/knowledge as necromancer
- Gives her a unique place in history
- Victory that doesn't compromise her "normal" theme because it comes through MC's power/love, not her overreaching
Slavery
As part of the Yao Hong storylines, you can become a slave owner. If you do, Weilan will witness slave training and participate with them. That you sleep with slaves that you don't care for at all scares her and dims her optimism of her station. She'll be more submissive. TBD how this impacts her long term.
Relationships
Overview
Her relationships are divided into essentially 2 categories, key character relationships and supporting relationships. Key characters are intended to be considered "main drama". These form developed arcs in themselves, and events are written expressly to support those arcs. The most important distinction is that these relationships are intended to have great entertainment value and elicit emotion from the reader.
Supporting relationships primary purpose is to support the development of character, in terms of realism and integration into the overall story, of Weilan herself. They can still be entertaining and have arcs, but they tend to be shorter, smaller portions on existing events rather than full events.
Key Characters
Supporting Relationships
With Jiaolong
- This is the most prominent supporting relationship. It's not a drama arc, but supports Weilan's character to help make her feel real and integrated in the world.
- They start off with a very positive impression of one another. They see that they each fulfill their roles well in a positive way.
- Talks about some novels they've read (Ji propaganda), how real life differs
- Weilan knows not to ask her about whether or not Jiaolong wants to be a Miya, that's too competitive of a question and would likely be an uncomfortable answer.
- They play off each other well, share information appropriately. They have fun together, gossip.
- Budding friendship that grows to be quite trusting by the end, enjoys each other's company a lot, ends up bffs.
- Remember that Jiaolong's job is to share and get information, so we should see an example of that in action in the early-mid game, and then how that changes to a more trusting / less professional conversation in the late game.
- They discuss other women's reactions to Weilan's success
- They analyze MC's reactions together
- Weilan sees the power that Jiaolong has being the nexus of MC's contact with the women in his life, and this is what made her think the Ji-seeking project is a good idea. However this doesn't end up in a rivalry though it had potential to be if Jiaolong reacted badly to it. This needs to be addressed though, can't just be ignored, but it doesn't need to be a big deal or an emotional scene.
- We want to see Weilan react to major non-Weilan story events like Peizhi's Exile, Winny's Betrayal, the Start of the Piyse Rebellion, the Piyse Civil War, MC becoming King of Piyse, potentially World Conquest, Shuqin Tao, various MC's lovers, and so on. These reactions could be shown in conversations with Jiaolong or multi-party conversations with other characters.
- She's also there to help her though major events in her storyline, including issues with Zhenzhen and Yaling, especially the loss of the sex coordinator.
- We should see evidence of Jiaolong guiding Weilan for the MC's benefit, and Weilan appreciating it as helpful and supportive.
- Towards the latter half of the game and their relationship, Jiaolong would get comfortable enough with Weilan to share details about her job and her database of women. Weilan would suggest using linear algebra to do more advanced analytics. With some matrix calculations you can make more predictions about the relationship between different variables.
- Develop this relationship as someone Weilan could really trust and get support from, so that she can transfer her social circle while losing others, not end up lonely.
- Jiaolong gives practical advice to weilan about staying wet for you, stay hydrated, then you’ll be drippier when wet.
Initial Friend Group Dynamic
- These friends are here to provide the Weilan with company and expand the world, but they are not developed characters in their own right. Building great characters very succinctly is the challenge here, as spending too much time on ultimately irrelevant characters is not entertaining.
- Circle of professionally-minded commoners
- Share ambitions of success through merit
- Mild disdain for Hila "throwing themselves" at solfrey
- Support each other's independence and achievement
- Secret romantic dreams hidden under professional facade
- Complex feelings when Weilan becomes Ji
- Must process friend's "elevation" while maintaining friendship
- Some cope by dismissing it as loss of freedom
- Others secretly envious but maintain friendship
- Group splits between supporters and critics
- Weilan's changing perspective on their "coping"
Family / Mother
- Parents proud of her success but ashamed of means
- Can't fully share life with family anymore
- Must maintain proper distance to protect them
- Watching siblings live "normal" lives
- Family's subtle resentment of her elevation
- Can't explain full reality of her situation
Views on Other Women
- Sees Cinean's ambition as dangerous and unseemly
- Understands but disapproves of social climbing
- Watches Shuqin Tao affair with quiet concern
- Relief when MC shows no interest in ambitious women
- Satisfaction in being valued for accepting her place
- Privately pleased when social climbers fail
With Cinean
- Talks to Cinean Sung, Yaling's Companion about commoner status and such, but Cinean kinda betrays her and leads her away from that and towards being submissive to the Solfrey, kinda hypocritically.
Evolution of Social Network
- Initial separation from former commoner social circles
- Not from necessity but growing divergence in worldview
- Their coping mechanisms about "freedom" ring hollow
- Sees through their forced happiness for her
- Watches them settle for commoner marriages
- Growing loneliness as she outgrows old connections
- Can't fully connect with other Ji/servants yet
- Careful navigation of Zhenzhen's jealousy
- Understanding but firm in defending position
- Building new alliances among household staff
- Learning to lead while maintaining proper submission
- Can't maintain old friendships
- Former goals feel hollow
- Growing distance from old self
- Can't relate to former peers
- Satisfaction in new role conflicts with self-image
- Weilan talking to friends and advising them not to fall in love with random solfrey men if they don’t want to be a hila.
- She has friends who are getting played by non-noble solfrey and she warns them not to fall in love. Getting involved in situationships and the like and falling in love with Solfrey who cannot afford to keep you is horrible. Would leave you a single mother and forced to become a Hila. Kind of hypocritically... though her situation is a bit different, she’s got an official title.
- It's part of her philosophy on love. She's in love with MC and views it brilliantly, but on other people she's more comfortable with articulating the downsides, of losing yourself, of the cost of surrender and submission. She "got lucky" in that she is happy, but fundamentally, the love de-powers you. Makes you helpless and at his whims.
This hints very subtly that her happiness is kind of forced or constructed because she has no other choice but to find happiness within her situation.
She's warning friends about falling for solfrey while being deeply in love herself, and her own situation is actually a perfect example of the dangers she's warning about.
- She achieved an "official position" as Ji, but that position is literally being a sex toy with no rights. She can't leave, can't have legitimate children, is completely owned. Sure, she has luxury and protection, but she's basically a glorified slave who developed Stockholm syndrome. Her love for MC has made her accept and even embrace this position.
- So when she warns friends, there's this tragic irony where she's telling them not to end up like her while being unable to fully admit to herself that she's a victim of the same thing. She justifies her situation as different/better because she has a title and MC's protection, but fundamentally she's just as "deluded" as the friends she's trying to protect.
- She's right to warn them AND a perfect example of why
- Her genuine happiness with MC makes her blind to how she's proving her own warnings
- She can clearly see the power imbalance and loss of agency in OTHER relationships while rationalizing her own
- Her "success" at being a Ji (MC's favor, luxury, status) actually makes her situation more insidious - she's a walking advertisement for the very thing she's warning against
When she warns friends about falling for solfrey, she's recognizing how completely it changed her while trying to protect others from similar transformation. She can simultaneously
- Know exactly how dangerous this kind of love is
- Be utterly happy in her own version of it
- Try to prevent friends from similar fates
- Be living proof of why they might want that fate anyway
- It's part of her philosophy on love. She's in love with MC and views it brilliantly, but on other people she's more comfortable with articulating the downsides, of losing yourself, of the cost of surrender and submission. She "got lucky" in that she is happy, but fundamentally, the love de-powers you. Makes you helpless and at his whims.
Sex scenes
- First time cuddling, she thinks about what she's crushing as she's on top of you. Worried about being too heavy. Thinks about how to position her body so she can put the appropriate of amount of weight on you.
- When Weilan goes into the scn with you, she drapes herself across your lap like she’s about to get spanked. You grope her ass from under her very short skirt and poke her anus as she moans and looks happy.
- She comes up to you and wants to hang out in your office while you're working on some plans. She promises to be quiet, says what if you suddenly want your cock sucked? You agree to let her hang out.
- After a while you're ready to take a break, take off your pants and Weilan eagerly crawls to you, having been watching and waiting for this moment. To your surprise you don't make her suck you, but bend her over, and put it into her pussy from behind.
- Weilan's inner narration is all about how she is "wrecked", loss of control, things didn't go as planned but it was so much better.
- You finish, laughing, praising her for being a great sport and a good fuck. You call her a good girl but now that you have more of a clear head you really need privacy when working and show her out the door.
- You hug her as she's spazzing out on the floor, unable to control her legs. You lift her into a princess carry and she clings onto your shoulders, kissing your neck. You carry her like this to her own room, before laying her down in it, giving her a kiss, and going back to your work.
Sexual Arc
- She was a virgin when you first take her.
- “I was growing sad, sad with restlessness and hunger. I felt that nothing would happen to me. I felt desperate with desire to be a woman, to plunge into living. Why was I enslaved by this need of being in love first?”
- Initial plan was to be a nymph for you before her finance arc, and realizing you value so much more than that and the other things she had to offer. Had consumed a bit too much Ji propaganda (about how good it is to be a Ji).
- “How do I look to him?" she asked herself. She got up and brought a long mirror towards the window. She stood it on the floor against a chair. Then she sat down in front of it on the rug and, facing it, slowly opened her legs. The sight was enchanting. The skin was flawless, the vulva, roseate and full. She thought it was like the gum plant leaf with its secret milk that the pressure of the finger could bring out, the odorous moisture that came like the moisture of the sea shells. So was Venus born of the sea with this little kernel of salty honey in her, which only caresses could bring out of the hidden recesses of her body.”
- After having sex in a threesome with your wife, she notices that your wife is not much into anal. She sees an opening to be the anal girl for you, but agonizes over whether or not to offer it to you easily. She reads you, and sees that you enjoy the process of taking control and dominating someone. She questions whether perhaps it's better to resist and try to pretend she doesn't want it so you can have fun breaking her into it. Being a Ji, she has a unique spot in your life, she's not expected to be a will-less slave, yet she's not someone who's more of your equal like a solfrey woman. She's in a position to offer the play of being legally able to be pushed and dominated in a way that wouldn't be right for a solfrey. She considers how to bring it out of you.
- In the end she only thinks about it and folds instantly with no resistance when you attempt to deflower her anus. She feels a serious wave of contentment and satisfaction at submitting to you, it just feels right. Resisting, even for play, would just ruin the moment.
- Despite the pain, feeling you in her rear like this is just so fulfilling on a deep level, really evokes serious romantic feelings in her. The love feeling is so overwhelming that it completely washes away any thoughts of strategizing or playing games.
- In the end she only thinks about it and folds instantly with no resistance when you attempt to deflower her anus. She feels a serious wave of contentment and satisfaction at submitting to you, it just feels right. Resisting, even for play, would just ruin the moment.
Moments where she's facing internal conflict over her love
- when she's deep in complex financial analysis, there's a flash of frustration when she feels MC's hand on her shoulder and her body instantly responds, her train of thought scattering. She loves him, wants him, but in that moment also resents how completely he can derail her concentration with just a touch. Then she immediately feels guilty for that flicker of resentment and throws herself into responding to him even more enthusiastically, almost punishing herself for that moment of resistance.
- Or late at night when she's waiting in their usual meeting spot and he doesn't show (because he's with someone else or handling necromancer business). She's not just sad or anxious, but angry at herself for being so affected by his absence. She hates that she can't focus on anything else, that her whole emotional world revolves around his presence or absence. But this very resentment of her dependence makes her crave him more, wanting him to come and overwhelm these uncomfortable thoughts with his presence.
- When she's with old friends and they're talking about their careers or relationships, she might have a moment of wondering what her life would have been like if she hadn't presented herself to MC. Not regret exactly, but a sort of vertigo at how completely her life changed course. Then she buries this thought by mentally reciting all the ways her current life is better, her internal monologue becoming almost desperate in its insistence on her happiness.
- The tracking ward becomes especially complex - she begs for it partly because she hates how much she needs his attention. By making the monitoring official and systematic, she can pretend her constant awareness of him is due to the ward rather than her own obsession.
Routes & Endings
Good Route
- If you take her side consistently, you can have her win over Yaling by telling Yaling to return the sex coordinator to Weilan.
Route 0 - Default Non-End
This is the ending where she ends up being an ignored, nice submissive, if you don't finish her route.
Route 1 - Default Good End
The default good (more like decent lol) end is designed to be compatible with Yaling or Peizhi or Cinean victory ends. It's not compatible with Zhenzhen.
Here you finish her route, but still prioritize other women to be your favorite or have no favorites. It is a harem end.
- You tell her that you have feelings for her, though stopping short of "love"
- You gift her books, let her read the prohibited books from that day when you were kids, including Archmage Qifeng Wun's "N-Power" treatise or the Iexin books on commoners. She also reads some more theological / sociological books that Cinean has. But she's so in love with you that it doesn't really make her subversive.
- You take her in group sex with other women, making them acknowledge her as one of your favorites. For example, Yaling would learn to acknowledge her and treat her like a shared sex toy, and not disregard her or exclude her.
- You give her commoner children who she loves
Route 2 - Horror End
This follows from Yaling's destruction of Weilan through increasingly extreme body modifications and psychological breaking.
- Gradual progression from light modifications to severe alterations
- Each change justified as "pleasing MC" but actually serving Yaling's desire to "test MC"
- She hopes for MC to save her, their bond, their moments together, their love, has to count for something, doesn't it? Tragically, he never does (you can decide to stop it at any point but to get to the end of the route you have to choose not to stop it).
- Before the worst changes, Weilan approaches the MC and tells him how scared she is and asks him if this is what he really wants from her. He tells her to submit wholeheartedly, leave nothing back. Be glad to have her whole existence be rebirthed for her lord.
- Knowing that this is what her lord wishes, she can only submit.
- Eventually retreats entirely into virtual space where she can appear "normal"
- Maintains her financial genius but becomes physically grotesque
- Lives for brief moments of your approval despite her condition
- Exemplifies total submission through acceptance of transformation
Route 3 - True End
Starts with all the nice stuff in the default Good End but with more bonuses.
- Your necromantic powers allow you to shield her child from demon soul infestation during gestation
- You give her children, and using necromantic magic they become the first ever solfrey children to be born of a commoner mother, marking a unique historical achievement
- This comes through your power/love rather than her ambition or merit
- She remains perfectly submissive and grateful throughout
- Yaling flips out about this and causes a schism, but you choose Weilan, marking her ascension
- Other women in the household recognize this as your choice to elevate her, not her rising above station
- The child becomes living proof of your mastery over both necromancy and the established order
Development:
Her deep emotional response to being chosen for this honor
The pregnancy becomes a demonstration of your protection and power
She maintains perfect submission even while carrying your heir
Other nobles are impressed by your achievement rather than her elevation
The birth cements her unique position while reinforcing social structures
You tell her that you love her, she's "the one" for you. She doesn't just get status, but an actual bonafide romance like in the movies.
Declare her your Lyxion - your most cherished one (this is a new formal title invented for her)
Yaling stays your wife, but Yaling acknowledges her as the favorite and sees herself sadly sidelined.
Weilan's child becomes your heir.
She also becomes the preferred sex partner, and you take her everywhere for sexual release rather than staying separate. You move her into your chambers and take baths with her, she's even holding your cock while you pee (considered a great honor).
Having her sleep wrapped around you every night
Making love to her multiple times daily
Her pure joy at being chosen for such intimate service
These privileges feel earned through devotion rather than ambition
This ending provides:
- Emotional satisfaction of true love story
- Power fantasy of elevating the perfectly devoted woman
- Maintenance of social order while allowing unprecedented favor
- Contrast with dark ending where Yaling destroys her
- Shows triumph of pure devotion over status
Storylines - Early Scenes
Foundation & Early Life
Weilan Kung is born into a unique position in commoner society. Her mother, Chunhua Kung, an architect, represents the pinnacle of what commoners can properly achieve within the solfrey system. Chunhua's success comes from her talent in designing beautiful and innovative buildings, particularly for solfrey nobility. She's frequently commissioned for major projects, including the grand library in the Count's palatial grounds where Weilan would later meet MC.
The Kungs are well-to-do by commoner standards but deliberately maintain a lifestyle well below their means. This isn't from frugality but understanding - displaying too much luxury would make solfrey uncomfortable, potentially threatening their position. Chunhua has mastered the delicate art of being valuable without seeming presumptuous, showing enough talent to be useful while maintaining careful deference to solfrey patrons.
This careful balance shapes Weilan's early psychology. She grows up watching her mother navigate solfrey relationships with precise social calibration. When solfrey praise her mother's work, Chunhua always deflects credit to their "direction" or "guidance". Young Weilan learns that success comes not just from talent but from making others comfortable with that talent.
The Library Encounter
At age twelve, Weilan spends time at the Len library, where she first meets MC, then eighteen. The library itself is one of her mother's finest works, commissioned by MC's parents. Its design brilliantly balances grandeur with functionality, featuring soaring ceilings and intricate magical lighting that creates perfect reading conditions throughout the day.
Their first interaction centers around an elaborate prank Weilan devises. She convinces MC that the library has a secret VIP section accessible only to the highest-ranking solfrey, hidden behind magical barriers. She describes it in detail - special collections of rare books, ancient manuscripts, and forbidden knowledge. The prank plays on real social dynamics - there are indeed texts that commoners are forbidden to read, though they're not kept in any secret section but simply restricted through magical means.
MC, initially genuinely curious, begins asking about specific books he claims are in this section. He makes up increasingly outlandish titles, turning her prank back on her. Weilan, despite knowing she started the joke, finds herself genuinely wondering about these invented texts. This reveals her dangerous fascination with forbidden knowledge - even knowing the books are made up, she can't help but be drawn to the idea of accessing solfrey-only information.
MC recognizes this potentially dangerous curiosity. Rather than scolding her, he gently steers her toward mathematics instead. He explains that anything truly worth knowing has already been leaked or published, and the restricted texts are mostly pretentious nonsense. Better to focus on practical skills like math that can lead to real achievement.
This guidance becomes pivotal in her development. Mathematics offers a safe channel for her intelligence - something she can excel in without threatening social boundaries. The interaction establishes their core dynamic: he provides direction and protection, she finds fulfillment within the bounds he sets.
Early Career & Professional Development
Following MC's advice, Weilan excels in mathematics, eventually developing groundbreaking work in financial theory. She helps her firm create their version of the Black-Scholes model, a revolutionary way to accurately price options using advanced mathematics. This work requires complex calculations performed by networked-tools - commoners whose brains are magically linked together in math centers, trained to perform rapid calculations in meditative states. Calculators, skilled professionals like Weilan, connect to these networked-tools through networkers who route the processing power.
Her professional success exemplifies "proper" commoner achievement. She works within an established solfrey-owned firm, her innovations carefully presented as refinements of existing ideas rather than revolutionary changes. The firm faces significant challenges - they struggle to find enough calculators with the right combination of mathematical talent and magical aptitude who can be trusted not to leak trade secrets. The expensive network-tools and limited calculator pool constrains their ability to expand operations.
During this period, she becomes engaged to a foreign businessman from Sangyue who partners with her bank. Their meeting was an unusual whirlwind romance - he sees her once, they have a brief conversation despite substantial awkwardness, and agree to marry immediately. This was frighteningly fast for Chunhua, but she resigned herself to the thought that maybe there is such a thing as love at first sight. Though Weilan's rational mind told her to slow down, to try to find love first, something about this marriage felt just right, inevitable. [Unknown to the player, It was actually demonic influence through the Red String of Fate.]
Household Integration as Ji
The transition to life as MC's Ji creates immediate status complications. The manor staff whisper constantly about this unprecedented situation - MC has never taken a Ji before, has always been consumed by academic pursuits and devotion to his wife. Some servants speculate about Weilan's "true nature", wondering what hidden qualities prompted such an uncharacteristic choice from their scholarly lord.
Her first meeting with Yaling becomes crucial in establishing household dynamics. Yaling's easy acceptance comes with casual comments that reveal the vast gulf between them: "I don't mind if you masturbate with her, just like I don't mind about Zhenzhen." To Yaling, Weilan is a pleasant diversion, a beautiful toy for her husband.
Yet Yaling's genuine kindness makes it impossible to resent her. She includes Weilan in intimate moments with MC, invites her to their bed, treats her with casual affection. These threesomes become a complex emotional crucible for Weilan. She notices how differently MC treats them - the tender care he shows Yaling versus the raw passion he shows her. While the passion is thrilling, the difference reinforces her place.
Initial Bliss & Honeymoon Period
Becoming MC's Ji transforms Weilan's entire world. Her childhood crush, carefully hidden beneath professional ambition, blossoms into consuming passion. But it's more than just romance - her entire identity shifts. The daughter of the Architect, who built her life around professional achievement, now finds deeper fulfillment in belonging to him.
The first weeks as MC's Ji are marked by an almost dreamlike intensity. Every touch, every glance feels magical - she's hyperaware of his presence, constantly thrilled by the reality of her newfound closeness to someone who she had previously felt foolish to dream of.
Every morning she wakes up in her new chambers, touching the silk sheets that mark her elevated status, hardly believing this is real. The servants who once treated her as just another commoner now defer to her position. Even her parents' initial concerns about her "throwing away her career" fade as they see her genuine happiness and growing influence in MC's household.
Her first time with MC becomes a cornerstone memory. As his cock stretched her virgin pussy, she thought how she was nothing but a toy for a powerful man who had upturn her life with a single word, yet chose to claim her gently.
Despite her nervousness, MC's patience and skill make it a genuine pleasure rather than an ordeal. More importantly, it's the first time she feels the full weight of her new status - she's not just serving him, but being claimed by him, marked as his in the most intimate way possible.
The mix of fear and arousal made her dizzy with need. When he enters her, the physical claiming mirrors her deeper surrender - to him, to this new life, to everything she secretly wanted but never dared voice. Her body responds with an eagerness that surprises them both, as if it's been waiting for this moment.
She growing wetter with each slow thrust until he filled her completely. Her climax shocked them both – she hadn't expected to cum her first time, but feeling him pulse inside her triggered something primal.
The honeymoon phase blazed with raw intensity. She devoted herself to learning his preferences through careful observation. How his cock twitched when she gasped "Master," the way he loved finding her already dripping for him. Each morning she'd prepare herself meticulously – fingering her pussy while thinking of him, keeping herself aroused throughout the day. Sometimes he'd bend her over his desk without warning, and she'd flush with pride at how easily he slid into her wetness.
[Author Note: Her methodical preparation shows both her dedication to service and strategic thinking. The pride in her body's responses reveals how she measures her worth through pleasing him sexually at this stage, believing that's what drew him to her rather than their childhood connection.]
Yaling's presence transforms what could have been simple master-servant dynamics into something far more complex and beautiful. Their first threesome happens naturally - Yaling simply joins them one afternoon, her casual confidence making everything feel normal, destined. She guides Weilan's hands and mouth with gentle authority, teaching her exactly how MC likes to be touched. "Slower here," she'll whisper, or "He loves it when you look up at him like that."
These intimate lessons create a bond Weilan never expected. Watching Yaling's passionate responses to MC awakens both envy and desire. When Yaling arches beneath MC, crying out in pure pleasure, Weilan finds herself desperate to contribute to that joy. It's not just physical attraction - pleasing Yaling feels like securing her position, proving her worth to their household.
Her first attempt to pleasure Yaling comes after an intense session where they've both been thoroughly claimed by MC. Still buzzing with arousal, Weilan trails kisses down Yaling's stomach, silently asking permission. Yaling's gentle "Cock only, darling" comes with such affectionate amusement that even rejection feels like acceptance. It becomes their private joke - Weilan's playful offers met with Yaling's warm headshakes, each exchange deepening their comfort with each other.
The sex itself becomes more intense as Weilan learns to anticipate their needs. She discovers MC loves finding her already wet and ready, so she spends hours thinking about him, keeping herself aroused. When he bends her over his desk one afternoon, she's already soaking through her underwear, earning his appreciative groan.
That particular encounter stands out in her memory - she'd come to his study desperate just to be near him, offering to wait quietly under his desk in case he wanted her mouth. Instead, he yanked her across the desk itself, important papers scattering as he filled her from behind. The spontaneity, his raw need for her, made her feel truly irresistible. Each thrust drove home her new reality - she belonged to him completely, and he wanted her just as desperately.
Afterward, when her legs wouldn't stop trembling, he carried her to her chambers himself. This tenderness, this care after using her so thoroughly, nearly overwhelmed her. He tucked her into bed, kissed her forehead, and promised to check on her later. Weilan lay there floating in subspace, knowing she'd found exactly where she belonged.
Their dynamic shifts subtly when Yaling starts sharing more intimate moments with her. They bathe together, Yaling casually washing Weilan's hair while discussing household matters. These quiet moments, more than the sex, make Weilan feel truly accepted. Yaling treats her like a treasured sex toy, something between servant and companion, and Weilan finds deep satisfaction in this role.
She threw herself into becoming the perfect nymph, determined to emphasize her sexual availability above all. Not because she needed to hide her other qualities, but because she believed that's what powerful men truly wanted. She'd kneel by his desk while he worked, ready to take his cock in any hole at a moment's notice. If he ignored her for hours, she'd stay still and quiet, growing wetter imagining how he might use her next.
Yet her natural personality couldn't help but shine through. During their time in the SCN, she'd make him laugh with clever observations, even turning him into a meme that spread among other nobles. These moments of wit emerged naturally alongside her sexual service, though she never consciously cultivated them.
The threesomes revealed another layer of hierarchy that made her ache with arousal. Each morning she'd approach Yaling: "My lady, may I be available for you and master today?"
"Master wants you," Yaling would say, lounging on their massive bed. Her casual authority made Weilan shiver - one slight headshake could send her backing away, no matter how desperately she ached for MC's cock.
When allowed to join them, she focused on enhancing MC's pleasure. Yaling would manhandle her at her whim – flicking her nipples, pulling her hair, positioning her body to display for MC's enjoyment. Though Yaling never allowed Weilan's mouth between her legs, she'd freely use Weilan's body to heighten MC's arousal. Sometimes she'd grip Weilan's hair, forcing her to watch as MC fucked Yaling deeply.
During their shared sessions, Weilan learned her place in their hierarchy. She'd watch MC worship Yaling's body, adding her touches only when commanded. The sight of MC's cock sliding into Yaling's perfect pussy would leave her dripping, but her own pleasure was secondary. Her role was serving their needs, enhancing their connection.
[Author Note: This dynamic establishes multiple layers - Weilan's genuine acceptance of hierarchy, Yaling's confident dominance without cruelty, and how the power differential itself arouses Weilan. The denial of equal intimacy with Yaling reinforces her status while still allowing her to feel included and valued.]
Often after they finished, she'd curl up at their feet while they talked, sometimes gently worshipping MC's feet with her tongue and breasts.
These nights in their chamber became her favorite moments. Sometimes they'd invite her up to cuddle, but often she'd drift off at the foot of their bed, simply being allowed to sleep at the foot of their bed, trying to keep his cum inside her marked and well-used holes, fulfilled something deep within her. She'd drift off listening to their soft voices, feeling utterly secure in her place as their cherished Ji.
Some nights, after MC has thoroughly pleased them both, the women curl together in the afterglow while he handles late-night business. Yaling strokes Weilan's hair, sharing stories about MC, teaching her how to anticipate his moods. These moments of feminine intimacy, though never sexual on Yaling's part, fulfill something deep in Weilan's soul.
During one of their sessions, she noticed Yaling preferred not to take MC's cock in her ass. Here was an opportunity to carve out her own niche in serving him. Her mind raced with possibilities – should she resist at first? Make him work to claim that hole? She'd seen how easily he got everything he wanted; maybe the challenge of "breaking" her would excite him more than simple submission.
But when the moment came, all those calculations evaporated. His finger pressing against her tight entrance sent electric shocks through her body. Without conscious thought, she found herself spreading her legs wider, offering herself completely. The burn of his cock stretching her virgin ass brought tears to her eyes, but feeling so utterly possessed overwhelmed any discomfort. Her pussy dripped onto the sheets as he claimed her most intimate hole, marking her forever as his property.
[Author Note: The contrast between her strategic planning and instinctive surrender demonstrates both her intelligence and how MC's raw dominance overwhelms her mental defenses. Her body's honest response – getting wet despite the pain – shows genuine submission beyond performance. This scene establishes how his presence alone can shatter her careful planning, a recurring theme in their relationship.]
The power MC held over her intoxicated her completely. Here was a man who could reshape her entire existence, who had claimed her through the Rights themselves. Her pussy would clench remembering how easily he'd overturned her marriage plans, how thoroughly he owned her now. Yet alongside this worship of his power grew genuine romantic feelings – the way he'd stroke her hair after using her roughly, his laugh at her jokes in the SCN, how he trusted her to please him without constant direction. [This is insufficiently romantic. Keep the power dynamics but add more romance.]
Yaling's acceptance proved crucial to her contentment. Rather than treating her as a threat, Yaling included her naturally in their pleasure while maintaining clear boundaries. This security allowed Weilan to fully embrace her role, knowing she had a proper place in her new household.
The staff watch this developing dynamic with fascination. A Ji who's so quickly become accepted and welcomed, what talent she must have. Weilan feels their stares, their whispers, but finds she doesn't mind. Let them wonder - though she doesn't know herself, her love for him leaves no room for any doubts.
Storylines - Complexities of Life
Professional Evolution & Power Dynamics
When Weilan returns to finance work after becoming Ji, her colleagues are unsettled by the change in her. Her new status gives her words weight, but also makes others wary. She discovers that her mathematical talent offers a way to be useful beyond mere sexual service, but this creates new anxieties.
She develops an elaborate performance in response. In meetings, she makes a show of deferring to solfrey opinions while quietly directing discussion through carefully phrased questions. When her strategies succeed, she credits MC's "guidance" even for ideas that were entirely her own. She learns to present her intelligence as a reflection of MC's excellent training rather than personal capability.
This performance extends to her body language and dress. She begins wearing more revealing clothes, emphasizing her sexual availability, while keeping her manner humble and sweet. The contrast between her obvious beauty and apparent submission makes her less threatening to solfrey while still maintaining her power over other commoners.
When Weilan returns to finance work, her new status creates complex ripples. Her colleagues initially treat her with a mixture of fear and fascination - she's now connected to real power, but they're uncertain how to interact with her. Some try to curry favor, others distance themselves. The most painful reactions come from her former friend group of professional commoner women.
These friends had once shared dreams of success through merit, looking down on Hila who "threw themselves" at solfrey. Now they watch Weilan with a mixture of envy and disapproval. Their conversations become strained - they can't complain about solfrey oppression to someone who's voluntarily become a Ji, but they also can't celebrate her "elevation" without feeling like traitors to their principles. Some try to maintain friendship by pretending nothing has changed, which only highlights how much has.
The Social Club Crisis
Yaling reclines on the silk couch, her face bright with remembered pleasures. "The gatherings in the capital were incredible, Weilan. Everyone who mattered would come - artists, merchants, scholars. The conversations, the connections..." She gestures expressively, caught up in her vision. "And now we can create something even better here in Len."
Weilan sits comfortably in a nearby chair, the way she often does during their evening chats. These moments with Yaling have become a cherished part of her routine, the solfrey lady's warmth making their status difference feel almost natural rather than strained.
"I want you to host the commoner section," Yaling says, sitting forward with growing enthusiasm. She's been thinking about this for weeks, planning how to help Weilan build the connections she'll need. "You're perfect for it. The merchants will feel so much more comfortable with someone who understands their world."
Weilan's stomach clenches. She sees herself standing before crowds of merchant men, their eyes crawling over her body, whispering among themselves about how the Count lets his Ji entertain them. Every glance would carry that knowledge - that she's available for their viewing pleasure, that her body isn't reserved solely for her master's touch. Even if they never dared approach her, their gazes would still violate the sanctity of her submission.
Worse, how would MC see her after watching her charm roomfuls of strange men? Now when he takes her, he knows she exists only for him, that her body and submission are his alone. But if he sees her laughing, entertaining others, would that change? Would she become just another pretty commoner who knows how to please men with her presence? The thought makes her feel ill.
"My lady is too kind," Weilan keeps her voice soft, "but after what happened in Mireota... I don't feel comfortable being so exposed."
"Oh, Weilan." Yaling leans closer, her face softening. "This would be completely different. You'd be perfectly safe here in Len. No one would dare touch what belongs to my husband. And think of all the opportunities - you could build real relationships, make the connections you need."
But it's not about being touched, Weilan thinks desperately. It's about being seen, being public entertainment. She remembers how MC looks at her when she kneels for him - like she's something private, meant for his eyes alone. She can't bear the thought of that gaze changing, of him seeing her as someone who displays herself for other men's pleasure, no matter how properly.
"You're very generous to think of me," Weilan bows her head. "But I truly prefer to serve more privately."
"Weilan," Yaling's voice grows gentle but firm, "you can't let fear control you forever. This is the perfect way to overcome what happened. You'll be surrounded by friends, building something important for yourself."
Each word of encouragement twists the knife deeper. Yaling doesn't understand - can't understand - how being MC's Ji isn't just some stepping stone to "something important." It is everything. Every time he uses her body, claims her completely, she feels her purpose fulfilled. The thought of diluting that, of becoming some social butterfly who just happens to also warm his bed, makes her want to weep.
That night, she approaches MC's desk with careful steps. "My lord, Lady Yaling has offered me a position hosting her new social club." She keeps her eyes lowered. "She's very kind to think of me."
MC's pen pauses. "And what did you tell her?"
"That I prefer to serve the household more privately." She risks glancing up through her lashes. "I hope that pleases you, my lord."
His hand slides into her hair, gripping gently. "And if she insists?"
"Then I place myself in your hands, my lord." She leans into his touch. "As always."
When MC later tells Yaling the subject is closed, something flickers briefly across her face - not quite surprise, but a subtle recalibration. Weilan, she realizes, is not quite the innocent she'd thought needed protecting. The revelation settles into her consciousness without fanfare, just a quiet adjustment to her understanding of the Ji's capabilities.
Their relationship remains warm, their evening conversations continue, but that slight shift in Yaling's perception changes the texture of their interactions in ways too subtle to name. The maternal instinct that had colored her previous kindness fades naturally away, replaced by something more measured, more knowing.
That night, as MC claims her, Weilan surrenders completely to his possession. This is what she was meant for - not entertaining crowds, not building business connections, but belonging utterly to him. Let Yaling think what she will. Some things are worth any price to protect.
Family Dynamics
Meanwhile, her parents struggle to adjust to her new status. Chunhua, who spent years teaching Weilan how to succeed professionally while maintaining proper distance from solfrey, now watches her daughter become a sexual servant. Though the position of Ji carries status among commoners, it's not the kind of success Chunhua envisioned.
Her father's reaction is more practical - he focuses on leveraging their new connection to MC for business opportunities, then feels guilty about doing so. Both parents struggle with how to treat their daughter now. Should they bow to her as MC's Ji? Continue treating her as their child? Their uncertainty leads to awkward interactions where they alternate between deference and parental authority.
Weilan maintains contact but keeps them at a careful distance, understanding that too close an association with her family could threaten her position. She arranges for them to receive various benefits through indirect channels, using her growing financial acumen to help them while maintaining proper separation. This creates guilt - she knows they want more direct connection with their daughter - but she sees it as protecting them. The closer they are to her, the more vulnerable they become to the politics surrounding MC.
You're absolutely right - let me continue with the financial firm acquisition and weave in her deepening relationship anxiety and identity crisis before we get to the sex coordinator arc:
Financial Power & Personal Crisis
The stability of Weilan's firm is threatened when her former fiancé cancels their business partnership in response to losing her. The firm's trustee, a wealthy solfrey, approaches MC about this problem. This creates Weilan's first opportunity to prove her value beyond physical service, but also intensifies her anxieties about her position.
These anxieties manifest in complex ways. Despite MC's clear favor, she's haunted by the arbitrary nature of her selection - if he could choose her on a whim during the Right of First Refusal, couldn't he just as easily discard her? She begins obsessively analyzing his every reaction, trying to understand exactly what he values in her so she can maintain his interest. This hyperawareness extends to studying how he treats other women, particularly Yaling, looking for patterns she can use to secure her position.
When discussing the firm's situation with MC, she walks a delicate line. Her deep understanding of the Black-Scholes implementation and the firm's potential could make her appear too ambitious or presumptuous. Instead, she carefully presents information as discoveries she's made while serving him, always framing her knowledge as a tool for his use rather than her own expertise.
The situation becomes more complex when MC consults his ex, Shuqin Tao, about potentially buying the firm. This introduces new relationship anxiety - watching MC interact with a former lover who's also a solfrey. Unlike Yaling, who Weilan sees as unassailable, Shuqin represents a more direct threat. This drives Weilan to be even more perfect in her submission, while simultaneously pushing herself to be more valuable professionally.
The acquisition succeeds, with Shuqin providing favorable loans for MC to become the controlling shareholder. This creates a new dynamic - Weilan now effectively runs the operation she helped build, but must constantly perform submission while doing so. Her identity crisis deepens: is she truly MC's Ji who happens to be useful in finance, or is she becoming something else? Does becoming too valuable threaten her position as his submissive plaything?
This crisis plays out in her management style. She develops an elaborate system of deferring credit - any successful trade or innovation is attributed to MC's "brilliant guidance," while she takes personal responsibility for any failures. She trains her staff to do the same, creating a culture of attributed success that makes the firm's achievements seem like natural extensions of MC's wisdom rather than independent accomplishments.
The firm's expansion brings new challenges. They need more calculators and network tools, which MC solves by providing commoners under his control (though Weilan doesn't yet know these are controlled through necromancy). This massive injection of resources makes the firm incredibly successful, but also increases scrutiny from rival financial institutions.
Weilan finds herself in an increasingly precarious position - the more successful the firm becomes, the more she must perform submission and helplessness to offset her growing actual power. She develops elaborate rituals of deference, making sure to appear sexually available and submissive even during major business meetings, always emphasizing her role as MC's Ji over her financial acumen.
The Deep Emotional Toll of Success
The growth of her power in the financial firm creates an almost constant state of emotional vertigo. Every success feels like walking closer to an edge she can't see but knows is there. During business meetings, she'll be confidently directing complex financial strategies, then suddenly be gripped by panic - is she being too assertive? Did that last comment sound too proud? Should she be kneeling instead of sitting in this chair?
These moments of competence feel like betrayals of her core purpose as a Ji. Each time she successfully leads a meeting or closes a deal, she's haunted by visions of MC deciding she's become too independent, too powerful. She imagines him replacing her with someone more properly submissive, someone who doesn't challenge the natural order by being good at business.
The ritual of crediting MC for her successes becomes almost religious in its intensity. It's not just about public attribution - she actively works to convince herself that every achievement really does stem from his influence. When she develops a new trading strategy, she'll spend hours tracing how his guidance led to it, building elaborate chains of causation that make him the true author of her ideas. This isn't mere performance - it's a psychological defense mechanism, protecting her from the danger of pride.
The hardest moments come when she genuinely excels at something unexpected. Each new skill or insight feels like a betrayal of her role. She develops a habit of immediately following any professional triumph with intense sexual submission, as if to apologize to MC for her competence. After successfully negotiating a major deal, she might spend hours kneeling by his desk, silently begging with her eyes for him to use her, to remind her of her true purpose.
These conflicts express themselves physically - she develops nervous habits like rubbing her fingers together when thinking too independently, or pressing her thighs together when feeling too powerful. During important meetings, she deliberately maintains uncomfortable positions to remind herself of her submission even while directing million-round transactions.
Professional Pride & Complex Satisfaction
The financial firm's success creates a unique form of joy for Weilan. While she maintains elaborate rituals of crediting MC, privately she feels deep satisfaction in growing his wealth and reputation. She discovers that building his success actually fulfills both her submissive and ambitious sides - she can exercise her intelligence and skills while still ultimately serving him.
This satisfaction is complex - she's proud not just of the firm's achievements but of how perfectly she manages to present them as MC's accomplishments. Each successful attribution becomes a private victory, proof that she can be both competent and properly submissive. She develops an almost artistic pride in how smoothly she can direct major financial operations while maintaining the appearance of mere faithful service.
Early Professional Development & SCN
The transition from pure honeymoon bliss begins unexpectedly during a game of Among Us in the SCN. Weilan drapes herself across MC's lap in their private room, his hands casually groping her ass under her short skirt as they play with Yaling and the servants. The virtual environment fascinates her - especially the private spaces where the Miliren started. Looking around the elaborate digital architecture, a thought strikes her: "This place... I could trade derivatives here."
MC stares at her blankly as she explains her vision for dark pools trading, how they could create a private network where assets change hands without affecting market prices. His confusion is adorable, and she snuggles closer, loving how he listens even when he doesn't fully understand.
The idea gains urgency when her former fiancé cancels their firm's business partnership. The guilt crushes her - she's brought trouble to MC's domain through her personal situation. She throws herself into developing solutions, determined to turn this crisis into opportunity. Her presentations to MC become a delicate dance - she needs to explain complex financial concepts while maintaining proper submission, never appearing too proud of her own intelligence.
MC's support surprises and touches her. Though he doesn't grasp all the technical details, he spends time at the firm, learning, showing genuine interest in her work. When they finally approach his ex Shuqin Tao about buying the firm, Weilan feels a complex mix of emotions - gratitude for his trust, anxiety about involving his ex, determination to prove worthy of his investment.
Growing Success & Growing Distance & The Ji Seeking Project
Ming Su becomes Weilan's first serious candidate after weeks of watching her handle complex trades with natural grace. Beyond her obvious beauty, she has a quick wit that makes even the driest financial discussions entertaining. During a late dinner reviewing quarterly reports, Weilan watches with satisfaction as Ming Su and MC fall into easy conversation about market patterns, their shared laughter echoing through the office.
The encounter that follows burns itself into Weilan's memory. Ming Su's silk dress pools at her feet, MC's hands exploring her curves with appreciative patience. Weilan reclines on the office couch, her own body responding to the sight before her. When MC enters Ming Su from behind, one hand tangled in her hair, the other gripping her hip, Weilan's fingers find their way between her own legs.
Ming Su's moans fill the room as MC sets a steady rhythm, his strokes deep and measured. Weilan watches his face, seeing the same concentration he brings to everything - thorough, methodical pleasure-giving. When Ming Su comes, her whole body trembling, MC follows shortly after, groaning his release.
Later that week, watching them interact during business meetings, Weilan feels proud of her choice. They work together efficiently, professionally - no awkwardness, no lingering tension. Yet despite their obvious compatibility, MC never seeks another private encounter with Ming Su.
Lady Hui arrives with perfect timing - just as Weilan notices MC's growing stress from his political maneuvering. Her music fills Yaling's garden parties with haunting melodies, and even MC pauses his work to listen. When their eyes meet across the courtyard, Weilan sees the spark of interest she's been hoping for.
That evening unfolds like a choreographed dance. Lady Hui's fingers, so skilled on the guqin strings, tremble as they unfasten her robes. MC takes his time with her, as if savoring a rare vintage. Weilan watches from her cushioned alcove as he explores Lady Hui's body with the same attention he gave her music earlier.
When he finally enters her, Lady Hui's cries of pleasure are indeed as melodic as her playing. MC takes her slowly at first, building a rhythm that matches the tempo of her earlier performance. Weilan finds herself moving her hips unconsciously, matching their pace as she touches herself. The sight of MC's muscles flexing, his controlled power as he claims another woman she's chosen for him, drives her wild.
After Lady Hui leaves, Weilan's body still buzzes with unresolved desire. But MC is already focused on reports from his generals, the encounter seemingly forgotten. Within a week, Lady Hui announces an extensive performance tour of distant provinces, her eyes carefully avoiding Weilan's knowing smile.
Yet the project's most enlightening moment comes from watching MC with Lihua, a stunning young trader whose intelligence and beauty rival Weilan's own. Their connection seems instantaneous - shared jokes, easy conversation, natural chemistry that makes even Weilan momentarily anxious. When MC takes her that night, it's with genuine enthusiasm, drawing out Lihua's pleasure until she's practically sobbing with release.
Weilan watches their coupling with mixed emotions, her own body responding to the erotic display while her mind races with possibilities. Surely this time… but no. The next day, MC treats Lihua with perfect courtesy during meetings, but the spark of interest has vanished like morning mist.
It's during one particularly heated session - MC buried deep inside her after a successful trade negotiation, her legs wrapped around his waist as he takes her against the office wall - that Weilan finally understands. He doesn't need more Ji. His occasional dalliances with the women she brings him are just that - pleasant diversions that don't touch the core of what they share.
The project winds down naturally, not with disappointment but with deeper understanding. Each failed attempt has only reinforced what she already had - not because MC deliberately showed her preference, but because the reality of their connection became clearer through comparison.
The gradual end of her Ji-seeking project shifts something fundamental in Weilan's relationship with MC. Each failed match taught her something different about their connection - not through deliberate lessons, but through quiet observation. She watched him engage brilliantly with women who shared his interests, take pleasure in beautiful bodies, enjoy stimulating conversation… yet none of it translated into the kind of deep attention he gives her.
The revelation settles into her bones: she doesn't need to secure her position through creating alliances or providing him alternatives. Their connection, built on that childhood library encounter and strengthened through every shared experience since, stands unique. It's not about being irreplaceable - it's about accepting that what they have simply works, in its own peculiar way.
This understanding transforms how she approaches both her roles in his life. During business hours, she directs million-round transactions with growing confidence, knowing her competence pleases him. The firm's dark pools trading network, built on MC's mysteriously efficient calculators, generates unprecedented profits. Yet even at her most commanding, giving orders to senior traders, she feels his ownership in her bones - not as a limitation but as a foundation that lets her soar higher.
The duality of her position fills her with complex emotions. In meetings, she's the feared and respected executive, making decisions that influence markets. Then MC will bend her over her own desk after a successful deal, reducing her to desperate moans as he claims her roughly. The transition from power to submission happens in her head even before he touches her - her body responds instantly to his presence, already wet with need.
These moments of surrender feel like coming home. When he's buried deep inside her, whispering praise for both her business acumen and her perfect submission, she experiences a completeness she never imagined possible. The prestigious career she once thought would define her has become just another way to please him, and somehow that makes every success sweeter.
Their coupling grows more intense as the firm's success increases. One afternoon, after closing a particularly complex deal, he takes her against the trading desk. "I've been watching you work all morning," he growls in her ear, sliding into her roughly. Her pussy clenches at his words - the knowledge that her competence arouses him this way adds new layers to her pleasure.
She tries to muffle her cries, aware of staff outside, but his pace is relentless. Papers scatter as he pounds into her, her body accepting him completely. When she comes, shuddering around him, he holds her trembling form close, marking her depths with his seed. In these moments, the distinction between executive and plaything dissolves - she's simply his, in all possible ways.
Growing Success & Growing Attention
The firm's meteoric rise stems from a perfect partnership - Weilan's innovative trading algorithms and dark pools concept, powered by MC's unprecedented provision of network tools and calculators. The sheer scale of computational resources he provides transforms theoretical possibilities into market-moving reality. Where other firms struggle to find even a handful of qualified calculators, MC somehow supplies hundreds, all working with extraordinary efficiency.
Weilan develops a nearly religious practice of crediting MC for every success. In meetings, she carefully frames each innovation as stemming from his vision. "The master's insight led us to consider..." becomes her constant refrain. She trains every employee to do the same, creating a culture where MC's genius becomes an article of faith. Even in her own mind, she begins to blur the lines between her ideas and his contributions - after all, wouldn't she never have conceived these strategies without his support and resources?
The financial world takes notice. MC's reputation grows to nearly mythical proportions - the young Count who revolutionized trading through mysterious but brilliant innovations. Weilan feels intense pride in this, seeing his growing fame as yet another gift she can give him. She delights in how the industry speaks of him with awe, knowing she helped build this legend.
When other firms' profits begin to suffer from their dark pools' success, Weilan sees their jealousy as validation. Their whispered accusations about MC's methods only prove his superiority in her mind. She's so consumed with pride in their achievements, so confident in MC's power and protection, that she never considers the growing resentment might turn dangerous.
The attack comes during a routine meeting about their latest trading expansion. Weilan notices something wrong a split second before chaos erupts - just enough time to throw herself between MC and the assassin's blade. The pain is shocking, but worse is watching a second attacker moving toward MC while she's helpless to stop them.
Through the haze of blood loss, she hears them demanding information about MC's trading systems, threatening to save her if she reveals his secrets. Even dying, she finds this darkly amusing - as if she'd betray him to save herself. Her last conscious thought is satisfaction that her body at least served as a shield for him.
The sensation of being pulled back from death is indescribable. One moment there's darkness, the next she's gasping in MC's arms, his face tight with concentration and something else - fear? She's never seen him afraid before. His hands tremble slightly as they check her newly healed wounds, his usual composure cracked by what almost happened.
"I love you," he says simply, still holding her close. The words shock her more than her resurrection. She's never needed them before - their relationship transcended such simple declarations. But hearing them now, after literally dying for him, fills some void she hadn't known existed.
The aftermath transforms their dynamic. MC's declaration of love doesn't change their fundamental relationship - she's still his Ji, still his possession - but adds new depths to it. When he takes her that night, his desperate passion mixed with lingering fear of losing her, she understands that belonging to him means more than she'd imagined.
Their lovemaking is different now - still intense, still primal, but with an edge of something deeper. He marks her body as if reassuring himself she's really there, alive, still his. She surrenders completely, letting him reclaim every inch of her restored flesh. When he finally spills inside her, it feels like being brought back to life all over again.
Recovery brings new dimensions to their intimacy. Though MC's magic restored her completely, he touches her as if she's precious, breakable. The first few days, he barely lets her leave his sight. Even during crucial meetings about his growing power, she catches him watching her with an intensity that makes her shiver.
Their first time after her resurrection, he maps her body with reverent attention, as if memorizing every inch he almost lost. His usual commanding presence is tempered with something deeper. When he finally enters her, the familiar stretch of him filling her carries new meaning - she's alive, she's his, and now they both understand exactly how much that matters.
Yet it's not all gentle reverence. Sometimes he takes her with almost violent need, as if fucking away the memory of her lifeless body in his arms. These sessions leave her deliciously sore, marked inside and out as his survivor, his love, his possession. The duality thrills her - being both precious and thoroughly used.
The incident affects her work performance too. At the firm, her brush with death lends her new authority. The staff who witnessed her sacrifice treat her with awed respect. She leverages this, along with MC's enhanced protectiveness, to implement aggressive expansion plans she might have hesitated to propose before.
Yaling's reaction surprises her most. The wife, who had always treated her with casual affection, becomes almost maternal in her concern. Their evening conversations grow more intimate, though Yaling still deflects Weilan's playful sexual advances with amused headshakes. "You really would do anything for him, wouldn't you?" Yaling muses one night, stroking Weilan's hair. The question feels like approval.
